Her beauty and confidence intrigue him, and her proposal is nearly as tempting as she is. Max knows firsthand how important second chances are, so he agrees to fund Angelica’s grant with strings…him.

Max and Angelica find themselves collaborating over her business plan during the town’s festive holiday traditions. But Max has been fooled before. Will Angelica’s good intentions last beyond the holiday?

My Review:

Its been a minute since I caught up with the Rossi Family and this was a fun read to do that with. With this group it feel like you are catching up with friends you haven’t talk to in a while! I really liked Max he had a big heart and felt with a blow that so many families deal with and some done come out of without deep everlasting scars. Yet with Max who took it on the chin and was determined to leave the world a better place. Angelica and Cosima seemed more like sister and had each others back and  would take on just about anything even if a little mischief was involved. They were both very determined to do great things even if it meant starting over. They were so fun to read about each had a large personally with a gentle spirit. The only thing is in the end I wanted to read move of Cosima story so I hope this is not the last we read of her. This book does contain sex so it may not be suitable for all readers. Overall it was a fun read and well worth it.

The Billionaire Cowboy’s Christmas Kris Bock

Description:

Besides, he knows the intelligent Carly has no interest in a quiet, rugged cowboy like him.

Carly’s crushed on Josh for years, and she plans to ask him out now that she’s back in Last Stand. She’s hoping he’ll finally see her as someone other than his younger brother’s middle school girlfriend. But when Josh needs advice on how to handle his family’s lottery win, his client and billionaire statuses put him firmly out of reach. If only her heart could ignore the sparks that flare between them.

They’re already keeping the family’s lottery win a secret from the town. Can they also hide their budding romance during the most magical time of year?

My Review:

They say money makes everything better, but does it really. This is a new to me author and I Have to say I was not disappointed at all! I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to see where these characters go next. I felt like the storyline was also new not something I had read before, its like the author dreamed up what would happen in real life and put in one paper. I really liked the whole family, however I did find Xander to be a bit of a mystery to me but in a way that makes you want to know more and see who he really is. I loved Ava and her huge heart for those who she truly loved and cared for. Josh grew up fast due to circumstances beyond his control but he still wanted what was best for his family. Carly was little miss independent also had a heart of gold but don’t get in her way if you mess with the wrong person because she is a spit fire and ready to go to bat for the ones who just need someone on their side. Overall the author kept this a clean book and has a way of putting you right there in the middle of the story. This book did not disappoint and I can’t wait for more.

Book 3:

Book 4:

Book 5:

My Review:I thought this story was super cute and as always I love catching up with the Blackwell Family. Big E and Denny will have you laughing with there antics. My heart broke for Adele she had this big heart and big spirit and will stop at nothing to help those she cares about, but it also felt like a lot of people were trying to break her spirit to make her get in line with there way. Grady was Grady he wanted to do what was morally right but he also had to up hold the law and he was not too please with those forcing his hands. He took nothing from no one at the end of the day. The Blackwells are so fun to read and I love that the author keeps things clean so that its suitable for all readers.

But Carter also knows the property is unstable and repairs are too costly. As they grow closer, he’s willing to do anything to save this holiday season for her—except grant her what she wants most. Can their partnership build the real foundation they need to create a magical future?

My Review:

This is a new to me author I will say I thought this book was a fun read. In the middle of it the one thing that came to mind was “hot mess express”. Obviously when you take to strong headed people you are bound to have some lack of communication and this was very much the case in this story. Lucy loss her parents young and is a fighter and a romantic at heart and will do anything for those she loves and cares about including her small town. Carter on the other had I found very stuck up and selfish and was looking to find away to prove himself to his family, he seeks out to find himself. Overall this book was a fun read and a clean read so I would say its suitable for all readers.

A Cup of Autumn Melissa McClone

Description:

He thought he had the perfect plan…

When elite university professor Keaton Andrews walks into a meeting with the dean, he expects to hear that his tenure application is on track. Instead, his beloved department is cut. Regrouping in Silver Falls with family seems like his best option. One morning, he takes a risk and orders a pumpkin spice latte from the beautiful barista at the local coffee shop. Too bad she doesn’t seem to find him nearly as intriguing as he finds her…

Raine Hanover is no longer swayed by a charming smile, especially by a nerdy—and distractingly handsome—academic. She’s taking a break from romance and focusing on running her increasingly busy coffee shop. But when Raine is involuntarily put in charge of organizing the town’s Halloween bash, Keaton jumps in to help, and it’s not long before sparks, and kisses, fly.

As the leaves begin to fall, Raine wonders if she should risk taking another chance on happily ever after, especially with a man who has dreams and goals so far away from Silver Falls and her.

My Review:

I really liked this book it was so cute. I loved Raine she knew what she wanted and would stop at nothing to fight to get it, she was someone who would do anything for those she loved. Without giving about to much, Keaton was more of a stick in the mud but you see him grow in this book and even in the end he still continues to learn. I loved the friendship between the five girlfriends they seemed more like sisters then best friends. The author kept this book clean so it will be suitable for all readers. Overall all I really enjoy this story so fun and worth the read.

Christmas Eve Cowboy Diana Palmer; Delores Fossen; Kate Pearce

Description:

Snow is falling, and when it comes to love, so are these rugged, gorgeous cowboys, in a romantic holiday collection from three bestselling authors . . .

ONCE THERE WAS A LAWMAN * Diana Palmer
FBI agent Thomas Kincaid Jones has soured on love and Christmas, but Annalisa Davis could change all that. Except the lovely nurse isn’t looking to get involved with someone whose job requires a gun on his hip. And Tom has a case to solve that has nothing to do with love. Yet the spirit of the holidays just might spark a lifetime connection . . .

CHRISTMAS CREEK COWBOY * Delores Fossen
In Christmas Creek, Texas, folks go all out for the holidays, but Sheriff Calen Jameson is too busy commiserating about cheating exes with his best friend, Emmy Kendrick. Calen always thought their bond was too precious to risk, yet maybe it’s time to start making some changes . . . by firing up the heat with Emmy.

COMING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS * Kate Pearce
Lucy Smith thinks Santa has outdone himself when Caleb Erickson shows up at her B&B. In high school, Caleb was oblivious to her crush. But while they wait out a snowstorm, he’s discovering she may be the gift he never knew he wanted . . .

My Review:

Once There was a Lawman-So this story starts the book off strong!  So with this story even though they just met it seemed to just work. The author made it seemed liked they had known each other forever and it didn’t feel like the author was forcing it. I loved Annalisa she was feisty and she could hold her own she had the biggest heart for others.  I liked Tom he came off like a know it all at some times but his heart was int he right place! I would say this story out of all three was my favorite.

Christmas Creek Cowboy-This story was so cute it had small town drama, it had best friends finding love and it had a cute baby with tons of surprises. I think in the end the only thing I was more of was Nessa and her story she felt like such a mystery that needed to be discovered. I really Liked Emmy she was a pistol. Calen he seem to have the towns problems on his shoulders but did not let that stop him from being a kind human to everyone.

Coming Home for Christmas-This story was probably my least favorite out of all three stories. The story seemed more forced then organic. I did like Lucy she was full of sprit and a fighter but I just felt like she could have done better then Caleb. Caleb was ok but he came off very self centered. I also really liked Chip he was such a wise soul. Overall the book was a fun read and very quick read even with three stories. Each story does contain adult content that may not be suitable for all readers.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The Stardust Cowboy Anne McAllister

Description:

He is nobody’s hero…

Wyoming rancher Riley Stratton has nothing in common with his newly discovered young nephew Jake’s imaginary “stardust cowboy”—the one who makes dreams come true. Riley’s own dreams died so many years ago, he doesn’t even think about them anymore. Now he just works hard, doing his duty by the family ranch. He knows it’s only fair to buy out Jake’s half.

Trouble is, Jake has dreams too. After inheriting half a ranch, Jake’s boyish dreams of becoming a cowboy are alive and well. Which means Riley’s world is about to expand to include Jake’s fiercely determined, seriously tempting mother, Dori Malone, too. And much to Riley’s dismay, Dori stirs his dormant dreams to life.

But Riley doesn’t trust those dreams. He doesn’t trust Dori. He gave his heart once and won’t do it again. Some men are made for love. Others, like Riley, are made for duty. And some dreams not even Jake’s “stardust cowboy” can make come true. Or can they?

My Review:

When I first thought when I started this book was why is this grown man acting like a spoiled child only to keep reading and realizing the author started the book with a child! I end up really liking Jake you could tell he was a determined kid with stars in his eyes and no one was going to stop him from letting his dreams come true and that he could not do something in life. I liked Dori as well she seemed like a fighter as well and why some of her story didn’t always show that you could see where Jack got his fighting spirit from. I was not a huge fan of Riley he seemed like a big push over and not take charge kind of cowboy I was expecting for this situation. In the end I wanted so much more from this group of friends. I wanted to know more about Trish and Jeff even thought I was not a huge fan of Trish I liked Jeff he seemed like a a really good guy. Overall I really enjoyed this fun book, I will say this book does contain adult situations so it may not be suitable for all readers.

My Review:

I thought this book was sweet. It was a good way to end a series. I am going to miss this family. I have some questions about Tanner and I really hope that the author chooses to write his story, because I feel like he truly deserves a happy ever after. I liked Max a lot she felt very relatable, that was one thing about this series is I felt like there was always at least one person in each book who felt very relatable. I felt with Bo he came off quite pushy, but I have been following this series from the beginning and that seems to be the way of the Monroe’s they “push” until they get what they want there truly is no stopping them. Overall I really did enjoy this book and series and it was worth the read. Just like all the other books in the series the author did keep this book clean and suitable for all readers!

An Amish Marriage of Convenience Rachel J. Good

Description:

In USA Today bestselling author Rachel J. Good’s sweetly romantic inspirational series, the bustling Green Valley Farmer’s Market in Pennsylvania is an unexpected place for residents of nearby Amish communities to find the partner of their dreams. But as spring gives way to summer and the market fills with the season’s bounty, a new relationship begins to bloom as well…

When widower Stephen Lapp moves his five children from New York State to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, his only plan is to buy his family’s farm stand, Lapp’s Pastured Pork. That way, his brother can move closer to his fiancée and open his own stand. But on Stephen’s first trip to the market, his brave act of kindness nearly ends in catastrophe—until strong-willed Nettie Hartzler saves him—and makes an impression he can’t forget . . .

A widow with private heartaches of her own, Nettie has no interest in getting involved with any man, though she doesn’t discourage their respective children’s new friendships—despite Stephen’s contentious oldest daughter. But when Nettie runs into serious money worries and Stephen proposes a marriage of convenience, she’s distressed and conflicted. She’s come to know Stephen’s gentle heart and generous soul, and she can’t believe he’ll want her if she reveals the sins of her past. God has His own plans for the faithful, however, and this time they may include a second chance at love . . .

My Review:

I really enjoy amish books and this author did a spend on the story so it made the read very different by good. I was not a fan of Joline at all she was a brat and she really was annoying. I like Nettie she faced a lot but she was a fighter. I really loved Mrs. V she was like an angel working to leave the world in a better place then she found it. I did feel like there was a ton of conflict in this book which I did not really feel like it was all needed, but overall the book was a fun read to see where the author took the characters was fun as well. This book is a good clean read!! I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The Best Is Yet to Come Debbie Macomber

Description:

When a woman alone in the world bravely chooses to open her heart, two lost souls have a new chance at belonging, in this intimate novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Debbie Macomber.

A new beginning in charming Oceanside, Washington, is exactly what Hope Godwin needs after the death of her twin brother. There are plenty of distractions, like her cozy cottage with the slightly nosy landlords next door, and a brewing drama among her students at the local high school.

Even having settled quickly into the community, Hope still feels something is still missing. That is, until her landlords convince her to volunteer at their animal shelter. There she meets Shadow, a rescue dog that everyone has given up on. But true to her name, Hope believes he’s worth saving.

Like Shadow, shelter volunteer Cade Lincoln Jr. is suffering with injuries most can’t see. A wounded ex-marine, Cade identifies with Shadow, assuming they are both beyond help. Hope senses that what they each need is someone to believe in them, and she has a lot of love to give. As she gains Shadow’s trust, Hope notices Cade begins to open up as well. Finding the courage to be vulnerable again, Cade and Hope take steps toward a relationship, and Hope finally begins to feel at peace in her new home.

But Hope’s happiness is put to the test when Cade’s past conflicts resurface, and Hope becomes embroiled in the escalating situation at the high school. Love and compassion are supposed to heal all wounds, but are they enough to help Hope and Cade overcome the pain of their past and the obstacles in the way of a better future?

My Review:

I really liked this book I really liked Hope and when life was rough for her she continue to rise above and try and make things better in her portion of the world. I liked Cade though even in one part of the book he came off like a toddler throwing a tantrum, he to continued to work on making a difficult situation into something better. This book follows not only Cade and Hope’s story but those of Hope’s students which right off the bat I thought was going to go one way and it didn’t. However the author used and opportunity bring to light something I am sure is happening in schools everywhere. I loved the small town feel of the book and how you feel like you are there in the midst watching it all play out. Over all this book is a good clean read and well worth it.
