My thoughts on the book:

I can honestly say I am ready for the next book I want to know what’s the team is up to next. I found Dustee had her moments sometimes she acted like a child and other times like the adult she is, she kind of was borderline annoying. The author did a good job keeping you guessing and wondering what was going to happen next. That being said there was a part towards the end that kind of dragged for a chapter or two but over all I found the book hard to put down. I was not a fan of the epilogue I won’t give the reason why as it will ruin what happens in the book. I will say that this is a clean read and there is so much suspense you will want to finish it in one setting just to find out what happened. I would totally recommend this book and I really can’t wait to read more about what’s happening next with the Montgomery Three. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

My thoughts on the book:

If you have never read anything by this author start here. I could not put this book down from beginning to the end. I loved the main characters Erin and Jax, both were complete fighters and would not stop at anything to bring justice to for their friends. I really also enjoyed how the author literally keeps you guessing till the end, trust me you will think you have it all figured out and then the author those in a twist. Before I realized this book was part of a series there is a character I wished the author would have followed up with but now I know its a series I can’t wait to read more about these characters and what’s going to happen next. This book is a clean read so suitable for all. Seriously grab this book you won’t regret it.

When the truth is finally revealed, Kaely finds herself confronting a madman who is determined his last heinous act will be her death.

My thoughts on the book:

This book will have you on the edge of your seat for sure. I will I did not read the first book in the series and part of me wants to just to go back and see what I missed. I would also say to me this book is not a romance book, while the characters do express feeling its never to each other. This book deals with some tough subjects and keeps you wondering what is going to happen next, The keeps it clean so that was a plus in my book. I did also enjoy that the author seem to hold nothing back in this book. If you are looking for a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end then grab this book you won’t be disappointed. Oh I will say this though the book ends in a cliffhanger of sorts.

My thoughts on the book:

I loved this story so much. This book has you on the edge of your seat for sure. The author has a few main characters not just 2 or three, but they all play a huge part in the story and without them the story would not be what it was, also that being said it was not that hard to follow either. This book is a murder mystery and you won’t want to put it down. This is a good clean read and well worth it. I can’t wait to read Rissa story, oh man I can only imagine what’s going on there. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.”

Oliver’s son Ridge still sees Harper as a troubled teen even all these years later. They must unravel her past before they can have any hope for the future.

Suspense, romance, and generational secrets meld in this engrossing new novel from USA TODAY bestselling author Colleen Coble.

My thoughts on the book:

This book was so intense right off the bat there wasn’t a thing to loose. This book draws you in from page one and leaves you guessing all the way to the very end. You think you figure it out and then the author throws a wrench into it and makes you second guess if you are right. I really loved Harper my heart broke for her while her childhood stands true for so many in our world it was almost like she was right there in person telling you her story. I loved Ridge he had his guard up but he wasn’t a jerk you wanted to punch each thing he did and faced you kind of understood why so you felt for him as well. I wish the author would have end the book with a follow up on some of the characters kind of makes me wonder what happened with a few of the big key players in the book. I had a love hate relationship with Willow but I would love to know more of her story. Over all this book was amazing, clean read. If you are looking for a book that will keep you on the edge of your toes this book will not disappoint. I received a complimentary copy of this book. My thoughts on the book:

I could not put this book down, I had to but it was 4 in the morning by the time I got there. This books so stinking good. The author literally draws you in and keeps the pace of the book going from beginning to end. I loved how Grace was named Grace, because after everything she faced she still was given grace and loved by some many and God included. I loved Hollis he hands down was my favorite. The other thing I really liked is the way the author described what was happening I felt like I was right there and I could picture what was happening. There were so many more things I really liked but I don’t want to give anything away. I will say that in the end there is a huge surprise that I was not expecting. Grab this book you will not regret this amazing read. I received an advance copy from the publisher. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion.

Each book in the Shades of Leverage series is STANDALONE:

* Slater’s Revenge

* Dangerous Lies

My thoughts on the book:

If I had to choose a few words to describe this book they would be; intense, twisted and really good. Some fiction books when you are reading it you can see it happening, in this story some of it was so far fetched you know that’s why it’s fiction. But with the twist and turns in this story makes you wonder if just maybe this has happened to someone before. The author keeps you guessing and keeps you drawn in that’s for the hole book. I had the hardest time putting this book down, it truly seem to just fly. This book does have sec and adult language in it. This book for sure was really good. I wonder what OPAQUE will be up to next. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Cold Aim Janice Cantore

Description:

Police Chief Tess O’Rourke’s small town is still reeling from a devastating fire when the FBI asks for help: Could she shelter a witness in a high-profile human trafficking case? Initially reluctant to put the townspeople of Rogue’s Hollow at risk, Tess is swayed after she sees Pastor Oliver Macpherson’s genuine conviction to rescue those in need, a trait in him she’s coming to love more each day.

Tess’s fledgling faith is tested when crews of workmen from out of town come in to assist with the fire cleanup and she worries that one of these strangers might shine a light on things best kept hidden. Neither she nor Oliver knows that Rogue’s Hollow is already home to a suspect from a twenty-five-year-old murder case . . . and someone is taking cold aim at those Tess is sworn to protect.

My thoughts on the book:

Oh my gosh, this book was amazing. The author has you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the end, and will keep you guessing just as long. I really liked this book, I had a hard time putting it down. I like Tess she’s a stubborn, hard headed, independent person who will stop at nothing to protect those in her town and those she loves. I Loved Livie she was so amazing a strong too. I think so many books now a days make the men the hero, but I would have to say there were a lot of female heroes in this story. I felt like I was not reading fiction, but non-fiction in a sense. There were so very tough subjects in this story but things that are very much happening in every day life. I really had nothing bad to say about this book and I can’t wait to read more from this author. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. Layover David Bell

Description:

In this high concept psychological suspense novel from the USA Today bestselling author of Somebody’s Daughter, a chance meeting with a woman in an airport sends a man on a pulse-pounding quest for the truth.

Joshua Fields takes the same flights every week for work, his life a series of departures and arrivals, hotels and airports. During yet another layover, he meets Morgan, a beautiful stranger with whom he feels an immediate connection. When it’s time for their respective flights, Morgan kisses Joshua passionately, lamenting that they’ll never see each other again.

As soon as Morgan disappears in the crowd, Joshua is shocked to see her face on a nearby TV. The reason: Morgan is a missing person.

What follows is a whirlwind, fast-paced journey filled with lies, deceit, and secrets as Joshua tries to discover why Morgan has vanished from her own life. Every time he thinks one mystery is solved, another rears its head—and his worst enemy might be his own assumptions about those around him.

My thoughts on the book:

I was not a fan of this book at all. I felt like there was too much detail and I felt like in the beginning it would jump around a lot, it would start on one thought and jump to another. This book told in two different parts, most is told from a first point of view and then some are told from a third person point of view, kind of wish they author would have stuck with one or the other. This story was completely twisted and suspenseful for sure. The book has 85 chapters which through me too since most the chapters are no more then 3-4 pages each, I felt like at some point the author kept throwing situations or different scenario just to drag the book out long, some just made no sense at all.  This book was not for me at all and I didn’t really like a whole like about it. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion.

Is it possible for Thomas to overcome the guilt he feels for his part in his brother’s death and convince Lyddie that their love can melt any heartache standing in their way?

My thoughts on the book:

Mission of love-

This book was cute. I found it interesting that in this story the author in a roundabout way mentioned that the way the Amish in this community were living was almost cult like. I guess I never really thought of it that way. I really enjoyed how Jace stood strong in his faith no matter what he faced. I liked how he also encouraged and tried to bring those he loved and cared about closer to God his love and actions. Over all I really thought this story was super cute

A Bid for love-

The story overall was cute. However I kept waiting for the next ball to drop, I guess I can say the author keeps you guessing on what’s really going on up till the last chapter. The love between Olivia and Gram was so sweet very much a clean read.

Plain Redemption

Sometimes the pain of loosing someone you love and guilt has a way of eating at you. This story just had away of getting to you in the heart. It draws you in and you find yourself not wanting to put the book down so you can find out what’s going on next. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and leaves you guessing till the end. Finding forgiveness is never easy no matter how you look at it.

Overall all three stories where really good. I liked how each had a lesson to learn. Each were a good clean story and well worth the read. It seemed like each story just flew by.
