And if so, how can he convince Ava and her protective sons he’s after her heart, not her money?

My Review:

I have really enjoyed this series its been so fun reading about this family and I was so excited to read this one. I have loved Ava in every book she has the biggest heart and the kindest of spirits. She shine even more in this book but the also was a lot more vulnerable in this story. I really liked North and even though he was new to the family he did not mince words. He was a mystery for sure throughout but you could see he too had a big heart and wanted what was best for Ava and this family. I loved catching up with the boys and their women. I will say there was a comment made in the book that had nothing to do with anything if felt off and felt like the author was trying to make a political statement in a sense and it just felt like it didn’t belong. Overall though I really did enjoy this book and it was a clean read and well worth the read if you haven’t started reading this series I would recommend it so fun.

My Review:

I have really enjoyed this series so far. I just got done telling someone the characters are so relatable and you feel like you are right in the story with them. The author seems to put a part in the story that really pulls are your heart strings. I also like how she is bringing awareness to soldiers coming home and how its so hard for them to just walk back into civilian life. I really loved Lucas and Mystery. I felt like even though the story was about Rohan and Ginny it was equally about Lucas and his struggles but when he would spout something off I was laughing so hard. I loved being able to catch up with the others in the series its been nice to see there stories still playing out, I really can’t wait for more from this group or friends. Overall the author did keep it clean and suitable for most readers. I would say if you love small town feel this may be a quick read for you.

After leaving his job as an oil rig operator, Cade heads home to the family ranch for Christmas and to re-think his career. Seeing the former Woodson princess painting his family’s home is a distracting mystery he intends to solve. But the more time he spends with Alex, the more he’s intrigued.

Cade tells himself he’s just being neighborly by inviting Alex to join his family for their holiday traditions, but he’s lying. He’s falling hard—unfair with his uncertain future. Alex is wary, knowing life is never a fairytale.

My Review:

This story was a gradual build of two people starting over for two different reason while trying to find where they belong in life and who they really are. I liked how the author didn’t make the relationship feel rushed or forced the characters also felt very relatable. Alex was a hard nut to crack but she also had the biggest heart. I loved her little shadow and the part she played in the story. Cade was the silent but hot cowboy who didn’t put up with a lot even from his family, he stood for what was right but also takes the time to understand a situation before jumping the gun. I LOVED Henry man that guy had me laughing so hard I just really enjoyed reading about him. Overall I really enjoyed this book it was a fun read the author kept it clean so its suitable of most readers.

Gabe is determined to seize this second chance, but can he convince a very wary Jenny that a globe-trotter is ready to come home for good this Christmas?

My Review:

I was so happy to be back checking in the with the Weaver sister’s. I really love the relationship they have I feel like nothing is held back with these three when they get together. I was however not a huge fan of Jazz in this book she just seemed to make some out of like comments to Jenny that I found didn’t really fit. Jenny really dealt with a lot not just in life but in this book and it was nice and refreshing to see you continue to grown and work on her best self. Gabe that man wore his heart on his sleeve and he sure did have a big one. He loved his family deeply and it almost felt in a healthy way he was filling in for the dad he lost. Overall I really did enjoy this book it was fun with Luke and his new “buddy” and the antics they got into it was overall a fairly clean book suitable for Most readers. I would say its definitely with the read.

* Lock ‘N’ Load
* Armed ‘N’ Ready
* Dark ‘N’ Deadly
* Trap ‘N’ Trace
* Serve ‘N’ Protect
* Honor ‘N’ Duty
* Above ‘N’ Beyond

My Review:

So this book is part of a series but it felt like the books could be standalone’s so it wasn’t hard to follow. Now the being said I had not read anything by this author so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I really enjoyed this book I truly could not put it down. I feel like lately so many books in the suspense are kind of the same and this author put a spin on things and really draws you in. I like “Jimmy” he was someone who you hate to love because of the action in the books but it made it so easy to see where his heart was. I loved Bella man that girl did not hold anything back what you see is what your got with her. She wanted family so bad that she took a lot from those in her life. There is sexual content in this book so it may not be suitable for all readers. Overall this book was a fun read and well worth it in my opinion.

The Amish Matchmakers Beth Wiseman

Description:

This Amish matchmaker is an expert at finding love for others, but will she find it for herself?

Widowed sisters Esther and Lizzie are the town innkeepers—and the town matchmakers. But when a new tenant moves into a guest cottage at their Peony Inn, the sisters are shocked to discover that maybe this time, one of them might finally find a match of her own. Retired dentist Dr. Benjamin Stoltzfus has signed a six-month lease at the cottage—and gentle Esther and spirited Lizzie are in a surprising competition for the kind doctor’s affections. Dr. Stoltzfus doesn’t appear to be Amish, but his last name and his mysterious background have the sisters guessing—and open to the possibility of finding love again.

Things really heat up when Benjamin’s granddaughter, Mindy, comes to visit. Escaping her big-city life in Texas, Mindy has moved to Amish country to be closer to her grandfather and to embrace the simpler life she has longed for. But she’s unprepared for what happens when an attractive young Amish man, who spends time at the inn helping out the widows, runs his lawnmower right into her little red sports car. Sure, Gabriel is cute and funny and nice—but can a romance between an Englischgirl and an Amish boy end well?

As Mindy and Gabriel find themselves thrown together time after time, they forge a friendship and start making matchmaking plans of their own. Which sister would be better for Mindy’s grandfather—Esther or Lizzie? And as the two young people put their energy into playing Cupid, it looks like love and the life they’ve both dreamed of might also be finding them.

My Review:

I really Liked this story it was so cute! Its a story about finding love, finding family and finding where you belong in life. I loved Lizzie she had me dying laughing most of the book with her quacky personality and never knowing what’s going to come out of her mouth or what she was going to do next. I really enjoyed the relationship between Gamiel and Mindy it was sweet. They both were searching for something that neither knew they needed but both of them wanted.

Ben and Esther were the wild cards for me, while they played a huge part in this story they also mellowed the story out from, young love to crazy silliness, it was like they were old souls just watching and waiting for there time o shine. Overall this was a super fun book and the author kept it clean so its suitable for all readers.

A Cowboy Country Christmas Jennie Marts

Description:

There’s no better time than Christmas to open your heart

Holt Callahan used to love the holidays, but getting dumped on Christmas Eve would turn anyone into a Grinch. Now he hates Christmas and all the holly jolly shenanigans that go with it. When he moves back to his cousin’s ranch in Creedence, Colorado, the last thing he expects is to come face to face with the one who got away and all of her holiday cheer.

Lainey McBride is all about Christmas. Now she’s running her family’s ranch festivities while her grandfather is in rehab, and no matter how many things don’t go according to plan, she’s determined to bring her holiday spirit. But the holidays have their own way of healing, and a Christmas in Creedence just might be the merry magic that brings these two broken hearts back together again.

My Review:

I will start off saying that I did not know this was part of a series so if you read this and not the others it won’t be hard to find or follow what’s going, however if the other books in the series are like this one you will want to read them because the group of characters are so fun to follow. Now on to my review. I did feel like the “situation” with Holt and Lainey went on a little to long and I wished it had played out a different way. I really liked Lainey she did have a big heart and truly was just this breath of fresh air wherever she went. She made sure to always include and care for anyone she crossed paths with. Holt was this grumpy gus but honestly I was laughing and rolling my eyes at his antics because it felt like it was more for show then that’s who he wanted to be betrayed at. In the beginning the chemistry between these two was explosive and the author did not disappoint keeping it going. I loved all the sub characters in the book they added such a fun factor into the story, but my favorite where the animals I laughed so hard at the antics of them for sure. I think hands down the two characters that stole the “show” were Winnie and Esme I could not stop laughing when they made appearances and you truly never know what was going to be said or done next. Overall this was really cute story and I would say worth the read. I will say that there is sex in this story so it may not be suitable for all readers.

My Review:

Hands down this was my favorite book of this series, now don’t get me wrong they are all good and I love how in each book just like this one it makes you feel like you are right there watching it all play out. I really loved Amy she was this strong Independent women who faced a lot but was whiling to take a risk to have what she wanted most. She was so relatable and very misunderstood character as well. I loved Chet he was this cowboy who kept people at a safe distance for a reason but also would drop anything and help anyone he has this big heart but you had to break the walls down to see it. I really enjoyed how they just seemed to work well together like they have knowing each other forever. Overall this book was worth the read and well worth it. The author also kept the story a clean read which makes it suitable for all. I can’t wait to see what more adventures this author takes us on in Marietta.

Tempt Me Please Cowboy Megan Crane

Description:

Five years ago, when Sydney Campbell came through Marietta on her way to the big Grey family Christmas, she ran into newcomer Jackson Flint in Grey’s Saloon. Directly into him.

In Montana to build some bridges with his older, billionaire half-brothers, Jackson didn’t plan to stay. Sydney was just visiting family from her high-stakes life in D.C. For one night they lit each other on fire, kissed goodbye, and never thought they’d see the other again.

But Jackson built more than bridges and put down roots. And just about every holiday, he’s watched Sydney turn up in town. The fire that always blazes between them gets hotter every visit, but this time is different. This fall, Sydney decides to stay a while. With the 85th Copper Mountain Rodeo taking Marietta by storm, Jackson knows this is the chance he’s been waiting for.

And he means to take it—if he can convince the only woman he’s ever wanted that there’s more freedom in loving him than letting go.

My Review:

At the beginning I was kind of iffy I felt like the book dragged, but hang in there the story does pick up and gets good. I really liked Jackson he faced a lot in his life but he had no bitterness, he was just this down to earth cowboy who took the lemons that life handed him and made some fresh lemonade with the. He was one of those characters who felt very relatable. Sydney really grew on my she had her walls high and in the beginning it really was hard to make sense of it all she was the exact opposite of Jackson. I did feel like when it was revealed what she faced it was so heartbreaking the story just made more sense in the moment. She did not let that stop her though she took life by the horns and held nothing back when it come to a head. She stands strong and stands for what she feels is “right”. Overall I really did enjoy this book I felt like its such a great addition to the town of Marietta. Sex is indicated but not described so may not be suitable for all readers.

Take Me Please Cowboy Jane Porter

Description:

Two worlds. One love. No compromise.

But when her uncle Clyde has an accident the weekend of the Copper Mountain Rodeo, handsome cowboy Rye Calhoun is there to help.

From the moment Rye and Ansley meet, their chemistry sizzles, but their worlds are nothing alike and neither of them is in a position to compromise. Is love really enough, or are they asking to have their hearts broken?

My Review:

I loved this story and I can’t wait for more from this group in fact in the end the author leaves a little note and I was super excited to read what she has in the works!! I feel like the big champions in this story were the Wyatt’s they were hands down my favorite and so glad to catch up with them. I liked Ansley she was independent and fought to get there it was no cake walk for her that’s for sure. There is something that happens between her and her brothers and I feel like as the only girl of all boys I could relate to the moment so I was laughing so hard. I liked Rye however he did have to grow on me a little. In the beginning he just seemed so beat down. However his sisters, and mom did not hold anything back when he need to be pulled and pushed they were right there, the family dynamics were just amazing. He has and amazing heart and only wants what’s best for those he loves. I truly felt like I could not get enough of this story. I so wanted more. I liked how the author kept the story clean and suitable for all readers.
