My Review:
I really like this series, I have enjoyed every book so far. I can say this book did not disappoint either. I feel like this story was equally about Devin, Frankie and Myrna as much as Bernadette and Holden. I liked Bernadette a lot I felt she was just a strong independent women who know what she wanted and would not settle for anything less. Holden was ok he came off whiney and almost throwing a tantrum I felt in some situations Devin was more mature then Holden. I of coursed loved catching up with other Monroes. I really can’t what to see what happen next with this family. The author did throw a twist into this that will add to other stories I am sure and I can’t wait to see how she plays that out. Overall this book was so fun to read I could not put down and so worth it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. After a tumultuous childhood, nurse Jamie Westmoreland craves the comfort of predictability. She loves her quiet life in a small Texas ranching town and finally feels in control until a handsome rancher becomes her newest patient. He challenges her at every turn, but Jamie is too stubborn to admit she enjoys their sparring, and that he makes her heart race. But when his charming little cowboy son starts following her around, her long-neglected heart opens.
Thomas Tremayne, the eldest son of a well-respected local ranching family, is both mom and dad to his young son and has no plans to change. When a ranch injury requires an in-house expert, the nurse who called him out on his attitude is sent to help him heal. She’s even harder to resist on his ranch than she was at the hospital, but Thomas is determined to try—except he’s out-numbered. His son decided he wants a mom, and nurse Jamie is his choice.
Can two stubborn adults let down their guard long enough to let love in again?
My Review:
I liked Jamie a lot she was a broken soul and just looking for a place to belong without being broken even more. Thomas was a bit of a jerk at first and he just seemed like a Mr. know-it-all I am to good for anyone, but his family, pops and Jamie see to help humble him over the whole book. He still had a take charge but he just seem to get better as the pages went on. Now don’t even get me started on Thomas the third he was a pistol and from page one I feel like he totally made the book. His personality just shined off the pages and he was so fun to read about. I really liked Tori as well being the only girl of all boys she just seem to take charge and tooted her own horn I can’t wait to read her story. There is adult content in this book so it may not be suitable for all readers. Overall this book was a fun read and well worth it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. This summer, they’ll learn that home is where the heart is.
Somerset Lake is the perfect place for Trisha Langly and her son to start over. As the new manager for the Somerset Cottages, Trisha is instantly charmed by the property’s elderly residents and her firecracker of a new boss, Vi Fletcher. But Trisha is less enchanted by Vi’s protective grandson Jake. No matter how tempting she finds the handsome lawyer, Trisha knows that if Jake discovers the truth about her past, she’ll lose the new life she’s worked so hard to build.
Jake Fletcher left Somerset Lake after a tragic loss, but he’s returning for the summer to care for his beloved grandmother, hoping Vi will sell the run-down cottages and finally slow down. There’s just one problem: Trisha, Vi’s new employee. She’s smart, beautiful, and kind, but Jake’s job is to protect his grandmother’s interests, and his gut is telling him Trisha’s hiding something that could jeopardize Vi’s future. However, as they spend summer days renovating the property and bonding over their love for the town, Jake realizes that Trisha is a risk worth taking—if only she can trust him with her secrets . . . and her heart. My Review: I love a a good small town story. I love a good second chance story so this is that story for sure. My heart broke for Trisha she faced a lot and dealt with her ex-husbands bad choices why she held her head high. I loved the group of women friend in the book they all were some of the sweetest and showed that having a good group in of people in your life will get you thought just about anything. Jake was a fixer for sure I didn’t feel like he wanted to “fix” Trisha but he did come across sometime as pushy which was annoying. I loved Petey what a sweet kid who was wise beyond his years so fun to read about to. I mean I feel like the cherry on top of this was Mr. S and Vi, to find out why you will have to read this very good book. I flew through it and it just wanted so much more in the end. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. Where to Buy the book:

She never wanted to come back. He never wants to leave. The town of Maple Falls has plans for them both.
Riley McAllister is living the dream in New York City . . . if the dream means being a struggling mixed-media artist, part-time food delivery driver, and having a carefully curated social media to hide all of the above. She refuses to admit defeat and move back to small-town Maple Falls, but when her grandmother breaks her leg sliding into third base during a softball game (she was safe, by the way), Riley reluctantly agrees to go home and help the woman who raised her—while secretly hoping she can convince Mimi to sell her house and yarn shop and move in with a good friend. Then Riley can return to her new life in NYC, on her own and for good.
But Mimi has her own plans, which include setting Riley up with local baseball star Hayden Price, who returned to Maple Falls after an injury ended his major league career. Now he works at his father’s hardware store, coaches the church softball team, and worries about the declining town. It’s not the life he dreamed of having.
With a little meddling and a lot of kindness from the town, Hayden and Riley find themselves unexpectedly falling for each other as they discover the true meaning of home.
Welcome to Maple Falls, where everyone knows your name and your business.
“A sweet, refreshing tale of idyllic small-town life, family, and unexpected romance, Hooked on You is the perfect read to cozy up with on a rainy day.”—Melissa Ferguson, multi-award-winning author of The Cul-de-Sac War
My Review:
I have never read anything by this author before and I have to say I really enjoyed this love story. I guess when they say never say never they mean it or at least in Riley’s case. She was a broken sprit and really struggled to find her footing which made her feel very relatable. Hayden was a fighter and spoke whatever was on his mind but always did it with love. He also just seemed so relatable, while reading this story it almost felt like I was catching up with friends. I really like Erma and the Bosom Buddies, man I want to be them one day, to be old and feisty yet always having fun oh my what a fun group. I feel like this story wasn’t all about love about about friendship and cherishing those relationships. Overall I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down it was so worth the read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

My Review:
Mom wanted- Anna J. Stewart
Cute love story with a little girl that has enough sass to keep you turning the pages. I really liked Claire she has a big heart willing to just love on those closest to her.
Father wanted- Kayla Perrin
Finding love in the most unconventional way. The only thing I wish about this story was that the author gave more of Jeremiah’s side of the story. Hero Wanted-Melinda Curtis
Marisol is a sweet mama who is hard not to fall in love with, she just seems to take everyone who she cares for under her wing. Leah is a pistol and speaks her mind, sometimes but only when it matters. Charlie I would like to punch. Family Wanted-Cari Lynn Webb
Marisol is back in this story just as sweet as can be, being the mother hen to a bunch of friends who either lack a mom or mom is out of the picture. I like Paige she feels like a bit of a free spirit but super grounded and loves her aunts. Gavin seems flighty but also seems unsure of what’s next in life and how to go about grabbing hold and going along for the ride.Overall I really enjoyed these four stories, each one stood out for different reasons but overall it was neat to read about close friendships that mean the world to each person and about making “family” and how family doesn’t always share the same blood. All the books are kept clean read and suitable for all. Well worth the reads!!!

My Review: Y’all I can not with this book. First off Grandma Dotty and the kissing sisters are back!!!! I mean you know you are in for a laugh with Grandma Dotty forsake. I was laughing through at least 75% of this book. I really Liked Lily she had a good head on her shoulders and a big heart to help those who needed a hand up, she just came off the pages as sweet but a fighter. Jud grew on me I can’t say a ton on why since you have to read to figure that out other wise I would be giving away to much about the overall book. I love the closeness of the sisters and how no matter where they are they are there for each other. I hope to one day be like Dotty and endless bucket list and a sassy, sweet mouth with who knows what’s going to come out next. I know this is not the end of these sister, and I am so excited to see where the author takes us and what kind of “trouble” Dotty gets into next. I received a complimentary copy of this book. My Review:I
thought this story was cute overall. I liked Sophie I felt like she was a fighter and was faced with so much, but I also felt her family never really got her. I liked Aiden a little bit I felt like sometimes he came off whiney and whoa is me type attitude, which became annoying. I loved the small town feel of this book, and the small town characters they were so fun. Overall this book was a fun read and the author kept the book clean so it suitable for all readers, its also completely predictable. I received a complimentary copy of this book. But he needs the bar and grill as much as she does. And while he’s a formidable competitor…she’s not. How can he take away her dream and future? How could she love him if he did?
My thoughts on the book:
I love me a good quick read and this book was totally that. I have really enjoyed this series of books and this one really didn’t disappoint either. I really liked Shandi the girl was stubborn as they come but fiercely independent and willing to help anyone. Jace was a good ol’ cowboy raise right but would stop at nothing to take care of his ranch and his family. These two together just know they are a fun read. I really hope that this is not the end of these characters and there is more to come. In conclusion I would totally recommend this book its fun, clean read with some adventure thrown in. From New York Times bestselling author Victoria James comes a heartwarming love story about family, forgiveness, and the true meaning of “home.”
Janie Adams has been a single parent to her nephew since he was a baby. Fifteen years later, she’s finally found out who his father might be, so the two of them travel across the country to find him. She’d do anything for this kid. But when they arrive in the small town of Wishing River, Montana, and Janie finally meets the ruggedly handsome cowboy she’d been told had abandoned his son, his shocked response changes everything.
Aiden Rivers can’t dispute this is his kid when he sees his own features staring back at him, but he had no idea Janie’s sister was pregnant when she left him. He didn’t even know she had a sister—clearly they’d all been lied to. Now he has fifteen years of fatherhood to make up for and no idea how to be a dad. This was never in his plans.
Janie sticks around to help him ease into parenting, everything from showing him how to lure a sulky kid out of his bedroom to keeping up with the latest teen-speak. Together, they surprisingly make a good team, this city girl and country boy. But when the past catches up with them, Aiden and Janie must decide what’s best for the boy who’s connecting them, not only for each other…which could mean splitting them apart.
Each book in the Wishing River series is STANDALONE: * The Trouble with Cowboys * Cowboy for Hire * Wishing For A Cowboy
My thoughts on the book:
This author never seems to disappoint and gets right to the heart of the matter. I feel like with this book and this series the characters feel completely relatable. I really like Janie she was a fighter and would stop at nothing to do what was right for her “son”. Will he has such a big heart and you can tell he was raise right by Janie and my heart kind of broke for him in the beginning of this book. Aiden man he was a hard shell to crack. I really like the other characters in the book as well, except for Maxi. Maxi I just want to hunt her down and smacker her myself. Overall this book was a fun read and I hope this is not the last we hear from these characters. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Darcy may not believe that he really intends to quit the bull riding circuit and stick around this time but Jason vows—with the help of the matchmaking Widows Club—to pull out all the stops to convince her that they both deserve a second chance. My thoughts on the book:
I really liked this book, honestly I have really enjoyed this series its been so fun. I really hope this is not the end of the Matchmakers they always seem to be up to no good which will guarantee you laughing alone the way. I feel like this was such a romantic comedy and I wasn’t sure if I was laughing or crying. I loved Darcy even though she faced so much she was a true fighter and ready to be this strong independent women with out her families past hanging over her head. Jason was an outsider looking in but was not willing to stand on the sidelines no matter what. I finished this book in one setting and it was so worth the read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
