My Review:

I really liked this book it was a fun story. I will say this early on in this book one of the characters had said something and it hit me wrong I was done with the book in my mind but my heart kept saying finish and see how it plays out and I am glad I did. I really like Kat when she makes her mind up about something there is no stopping her. I also loved the closeness of the friendship group, I have not read any of the other books in the series but I am sure they are just as fun because this group of friends does not hold anything back. We all need a group of friends like this in out lives. I was not a huge fan of Wes for most of the book he just came off very annoying and immature however in the end my opinion of him did change. Overall this was a fun read and well worth it.

My Review:

I really liked Elizabeth she was a fighter and ready to help those who took something so precious from her. She was so fun and feisty and one of my favorite characters in the book. I also really liked Dallas and Dan they were friends who you always want in your corner. I was not a huge fan of Ryan I really wanted to like him especially because of all the good he was doing, I just felt like he was the a big know it all and came off like a jerk. Over all this book was ok it does contain adult situations and topics that may not be suitable for all readers.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Love Out Loud Marissa Clarke

Description:

A deliciously fun, flirty rom-com where love doesn’t happen by opening a door…it happens when you get stuck in one.

Veterinarian Fiona Nichols does not do well in stressful social situations. A little babble here, saying the absolutely wrong thing there. But that doesn’t stop Fiona from checking out the delectably hot guy in her building…from afar. Fate apparently has a nasty sense of humor, though.

Somehow Fiona gets herself and Hot Guy stuck in the building’s revolving door—all thanks to a certain squeaky dog toy…that unfortunately looks decidedly, uh, penile.

Must be time to meet the neighbors.

Turns out that Jake Ward is Fiona’s new public-speaking coach. A hot extrovert who always knows what to say. Fiona should hate the man on sight. Instead, she’s only finding him more attractive. And now she’s finally getting out of her comfort zone…only to get in over her head.

My Review:

 This book was so cute I really liked Fiona and Jake. At first I was not a fan of Jake I felt like he came off as a bit of a know it all who thought his poo did not stink. I found Fiona one of those relatable characters I think in life we can all have a fear of something and it can be overwhelming but we fight through and tackle life. I really loved all the puppies this in book so much personality with the jumping from the pages. Fiona had such an amazing group of friends it felt like they all were more like sisters. I have not read any other books in the series but this was so cute and fun I am sure those were just as equally fun to read. This book does have adult content and may not be suitable for all readers. Overall this book was worth the read and I would recommend it get read for some laughs for sure.

August Harding is one step away from a huge promotion. All he has to do is ensure that his company acquires Valentino Bellas Vineyards. Leila has never forgiven him for the way he ended things, but the longer they pretend to be a couple, the more he begins to wonder if a second chance isn’t impossible after all. But can he convince Leila that this time he’s not walking away?

My Review:

This was a cute story. I really liked Leila she was a fighter and always wanting to do what’s right for her family. August was dealing with hurt from the loss of someone close so he was reserved and not willing to put him heart on the line. While I found the book very predictable, I also found the story very cute. I loved Nonna, Poppa, and August family they were just so fun side characters and I feel like Nonna and Poppa had so much wisdom and was so fun to read about. This book does have adult content and may sensitive to some. Overall this was a fun book and worth the read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. But as they team up to return the Christmas spirit to his Colorado mountain chateau, sparks fly and Kara realizes she needs to let go of her own pain to embrace the love she’s beginning to feel in her heart.

My Review:

I have always like this author in the past and this book I will have to say just didn’t do it for me. I did like Kara she has a huge heart and will do just about anything for anyone even those she doesn’t know. I have to say sadly my favorite characters were not the main characters but those who had cameos throughout. Richard annoyed me I found him to be very selfish and self centered from the beginning and was not a fan but his kids oh my the cutest ever and I loved the dog. I was also a huge fan of HIs parents. I feel like the story was a lot of push and pull and a lot of misunderstanding and for grown adult it just seemed to much. Overall the story was cute just had a few dragging parts also the author kept the story clean which is always a plus with me so it makes it suitable for all readers.  I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This charming third installment of the Amish Inn series from bestselling author Beth Wiseman is a picture of loss and healing in which forgiveness will prove to be the greatest act of love.

My Review:

I really enjoyed this book is was so fun to read yet also go to the heart of the matter. I did not read the first two book in the series but you do catch up with some of the other characters from both books in this story. I really enjoyed the sisters Lizzie and Esther you never knew what was going to come out of there mouths or what they were going to do next, between them and Gus I felt like I was always laughing. I really liked Rose she has a heart of goal but trying to find where she fits in life and someone who will love her for who she is. Ben Was also struggling but he seem to just be stubborn and take things in stride. I feel like thought out the book is was a reminder to love ourselves for who God made us and others will come along to love us just the same. Over all this book was a fun read and was well worth it. It was also a clean read so suitable for all. I would totally recommend this book to anyone. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The Cowboy Says I Do Sinclair Jayne

Description:

He needs her to say I do…

When professional rodeo cowboy Beck Ballantyne returns home to Marietta, Montana, nothing goes as planned. His granddad, flanked by his three determined daughters, announces his plan to sell his legacy ranch after the rodeo. Hoping he’ll reconsider, Beck and his two cousins launch the Rodeo Bride Game. Beck initially has the advantage as he has a long-time girlfriend—except she’s just called it quits.

Ashni Singh has loved Beck since high school, but she’s done living out of a suitcase on the rodeo tour. She’s ready to put down roots and build her own career. Learning she’s unexpectedly expecting makes her even more determined to make a new life. So when Beck dutifully proposes, she does what any self-respecting, career-oriented, educated woman at the end of her patience would do. She says no.

The Rodeo Bride Game may have started as a fun challenge, but Beck has never been more serious about winning Ash’s heart and her hand.

My Review:

Have you ever seen a train wreck coming and yet all you can do is sit there and watch it play out and wonder if the wreck will be stopped in time? Ok so that’s how I felt about this book. Beck and his cousin’s come up with this cockamamie idea in hopes to “help” their granddad, while the cousins seem more like brothers so you know they are up too no good, it leaves you wondering who’s helping who. While I found this childish there antics were also kind of laughable. I liked Ashni she knew what she wanted and would not let anything stop her from getting there even a few detours. While at first I found Beck a bit self centered jerk (I think thats what the author was going for) he kind of worked his way up as we works to win over Ash with his fun and crazy ideas. I really did like this story overall it was light hearted and just makes you shake your head. There is adult content and may not be suitable for all but so fun. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

But with each date, the lines between pretend and reality blur, giving Tim and Emily a tantalizing taste of life outside the friend zone . . . if they can find the courage to give real love a chance.

My Review:

SO in the first book Forever with You I loved Emily and was so ready for her to have her happily ever after so I was excited when I got this book. I still liked Emily and I loved that Leyna was back and she was just as feisty as ever. I liked Fuzzy he was super eccentric and while he seemed to use a situation for his greater good but his heart was in the right place. I was not a huge fan of Tim I just felt he was selfish and overall not a huge fan of his. I did like Emily’s grandma she was a pistol and while she faced something tough she stopped at nothing to show Emily how worthy she was of love. This book does have adult content and may not be suitable for all. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

With the week drawing to a close, can Wes convince her to give love a chance before she leaves Silverado Lake—and him—behind for good?

Includes the bonus novella It’s All About that Cowboy by Carly Bloom!

My thoughts on the book:

When I first started this book it felt like I had read it before, which yes I know its new so that’s impossible. However after a few pages in, that change and the author did a really great job of taking you on an emotional journey through Thea and Wes’ life. I really like both characters equally. I feel like when an author makes the characters relatable and feel like friends you know you are in for a book that will keep your attention. I think one of my favorite lines in the book is “He Lived to spend time with his family.” I feel this sums up the book and it shows how powerful a choice can be when you make it. This is some sexual content in this book, Over all I would read this one again it was emotional, but also found myself laughing too. Friendship is the key in the book. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

WISHING FOR A COWBOY Victoria James

4 out of 5 stars

Description:

From New York Times bestselling author Victoria James comes a heartwarming love story about family, forgiveness, and the true meaning of “home.”

Janie Adams has been a single parent to her nephew since he was a baby. Fifteen years later, she’s finally found out who his father might be, so the two of them travel across the country to find him. She’d do anything for this kid. But when they arrive in the small town of Wishing River, Montana, and Janie finally meets the ruggedly handsome cowboy she’d been told had abandoned his son, his shocked response changes everything.

Aiden Rivers can’t dispute this is his kid when he sees his own features staring back at him, but he had no idea Janie’s sister was pregnant when she left him. He didn’t even know she had a sister—clearly they’d all been lied to. Now he has fifteen years of fatherhood to make up for and no idea how to be a dad. This was never in his plans.

Janie sticks around to help him ease into parenting, everything from showing him how to lure a sulky kid out of his bedroom to keeping up with the latest teen-speak. Together, they surprisingly make a good team, this city girl and country boy. But when the past catches up with them, Aiden and Janie must decide what’s best for the boy who’s connecting them, not only for each other…which could mean splitting them apart.

Each book in the Wishing River series is STANDALONE:
* The Trouble with Cowboys
* Cowboy for Hire
* Wishing For A Cowboy

My thoughts on the book:

This author never seems to disappoint and gets right to the heart of the matter. I feel like with this book and this series the characters feel completely relatable. I really like Janie she was a fighter and would stop at nothing to do what was right for her “son”. Will he has such a big heart and you can tell he was raise right by Janie and my heart kind of broke for him in the beginning of this book. Aiden man he was a hard shell to crack. I really like the other characters in the book as well, except for Maxi. Maxi I just want to hunt her down and smacker her myself. Overall this book was a fun read and I hope this is not the last we hear from these characters. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
