My thoughts on the book:

So if you have been following my reviews for long you know I like finding new to me authors, and here is one of those. So this is a new to me author and because of that I have not read any of the other books in the series. This book did not disappoint. From the beginning to the end some of it has you on the edge of your seat. I really liked Grace and her story. I did feel that the book was predictable but it still did not take away from the story overall. I liked Caleb and his story it was deep and emotional for sure. I would say that for those who are content sensitive: this book contains non-graphic scenes and descriptions of a sexual assault. The book other then that is a good clean read and may be suitable for the right age. I would totally recommend this book very quick read and worth it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Autumn Skies Denise Hunter

Description:

From the bestselling author of The Convenient Groom and A December Bride (now beloved Hallmark Original movies) comes the third and final novel in the Bluebell Inn series!

When a mysterious man turns up at Grace’s family-run inn, it’s instant attraction. But she’s already got a lot on her plate: running the Bluebell Inn, getting Blue Ridge Outfitters off the ground, and coping with a childhood event she’d thought was long past.

A gunshot wound has resurrected the past for secret service agent Wyatt Jennings, and a mandatory leave of absence lands him in Bluebell, North Carolina. There he must try and come to grips with the crisis that altered his life forever.

Grace needs experience for her new outfitters business, so when Wyatt needs a mountain guide, she’s more than happy to step up to the plate. As their journey progresses, Grace soon has an elusive Wyatt opening up, and Wyatt is unwittingly drawn to Grace’s fresh outlook and sense of humor.

There’s no doubt the two have formed a special bond, but will Wyatt’s secrets bring Grace’s world crashing down? Or will those secrets end up healing them both?

My thoughts on the book:

Somethings are beyond our own understanding and I felt like that was very present in this story. It was a very powerful read and I found it hard to put this book down. Grace and Wyatt both are faced with something in there past that leaves them with more questions than answers and because of that the author keeps you guessing and leaves you wondering what is going to happen next. I love the relationship between Levi, Molly and Grace its such a typical sibling relationship but at the end of the day when they need each other they are there for each other. I liked how the author didn’t make either of the main characters victims but both fighters. Over all this book is a good clean read and was so worth the read. If you are following this series this book will allow you to catch up with others in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Peyton’s instant bond with little Gino is making her rethink her path—and her feelings for Matteo. Is a new dream unfolding under Montana’s endless sky?

USA TODAY Bestselling Author

My thoughts on the book:

I love this series so far and this book did not disappoint either. I love the Blackwell brothers and I love how nothing ever shocks them with their grandfather Big E so when Peyton is forced to go to Montana nothing that happens really shocks them. I think what was different with this story was with Peyton she remembers her biological father where her other sisters do not. I liked Matteo who has a big heart and who’s past was not always that great but he seem to rise above and would do anything for those he loved. He is stubborn as a mule and sometimes you did want to just smack some sense into him but he was not the only hero in this story. The author through a little mystery into this story and if made you kind of keep guessing who was the “one’ I think the really hero in this story was Gino he may be small but he was hard not to love and hard not to really enjoy. Over all this story is a good clean read which is suitable for all readers. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

“Laura Trentham creates a romance that is both extremely sensual and phenomenal.”
Fresh Fiction

My thoughts on the book:

I liked that characters in this book, I liked Holt he was just this good guy with a good heart and was willing to help Claire even when she didn’t want it. Claire she was running from a future she wasn’t she she wanted but the was also not use to letting people close so she came off as a bit of a witch. She however would not stop at anything to help Mrs. Meadows. I liked Mrs. Meadows she was a pistol. There was adult situations in this book, over all was a super fun read and was super enjoyable. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Falling for Her Laurie LeClair

 Description:

The girl next door is now the woman he’s falling for.

As her ten year high school reunion approaches, Becca Thompson feels the pinch of not accomplishing enough since graduation. Romance has been an even bigger bust. Longing for more, she decides to organize a fall harvest festival and community fundraiser on her family’s orchard. But Becca gets more than she bargained for when she asks her childhood friend to help. Suddenly her bestie is making her knees weak and her heart flutter.

Jason Fox is dedicated to his veterinarian practice and raising funds to make his dream animal shelter a reality. When he’s sidelined by an injury, he takes a break and returns home to Cupid’s Corner. But from the moment he sees Becca, everything’s different. She’s no longer the young girl he picked apples and pumpkins with—she’s a self-reliant, beautiful woman.

Jason helps Becca with the festival, but the more time they spend together the harder it is to ignore the sparks. Can leaving the friend zone end in love or will it ruin everything?

My thoughts on the book:

I loved these characters and the fact that the author included dogs as a big part of the story was just the cherry on top. While the story was somewhat predictable it was also very refreshing. I loved Mr and Mrs. Valentine what a sweet couple they were hard not to love. I did not read the other books in the series so I can’t tell you if there was any follow up on other characters. I like Stacy she jumped on the pages and seem to be a great sister and didn’t take much from Jason she didn’t give back. I liked that the author kept this book a clean read so that it would be suitable for all. Overall this book was a quick read and I really enjoyed it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Serenity’s Song Cathryn Hein

 Description:

He’s got a history of bad decisions—is he finally about to make the right one?

Jesse Hargreaves can’t outrun his notorious bad boy reputation. Betrayed by a woman he trusted, he retreats to his hometown, Wirralong, to serve as his brother’s best man and rebuild his life. But change isn’t easy, and it’s even harder when Jesse has to fight his fierce attraction to the maid of honour—a woman well aware of the darkness in his past.

Beautician Serenity Strachan’s flippant one-liners and vibrant hair colours are armour to protect her fragile heart. She’s always crushed on Jesse, but she’s determined to keep him and his sordid past at an arm’s length. That’s easier said than done when Jesse asks Serenity to help renovate an old property. And when they’re trapped underground in a tunnel cave-in, their emotional barriers fall faster than the tunnel walls.

When rescue arrives, they question their new emotional intimacy. Can Serenity trust this new Jesse with her heart? And can Jesse trust that Serenity will ignore the lure of a fortune to keep his secrets safe?

My thoughts on the book:
This author is new to me so I did not read the first book in the series but I really like Elsa she was an amazing character with a huge heart and ready to help anyone not matter what. Jack was the strong and silent type but he also seem to have a huge heart of gold as well. Serenity was a spit fire and she seem to speak her mind she seemed very fierce for those she loved. I felt like she put up with way too much from Jessie. Jessie was not my favorite I found him a rich snotty I can do no wrong type. At first I felt bad and hoped things would get better with him. When the author through in a twist in the story I thought ok here is the changing point. Lets just say what I thought was going to happen it didn’t. In the end I still was a fan of Jack, Elsa and Serenity. The friendship between Elsa and Serenity was perfect and fun and so what many want from friends. This book does have adult situations and conversations. There is cursing in this book so this may not be suitable for all. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.”

A Cowboy for Keeps Laura Drake

Description:From a “fabulous new voice in romantic fiction” (NYT bestselling author Lael Miller): an arrogant cowboy meets a headstrong woman determined to take custody of his niece, only to realize that she may be the family he was always searching for.
There’s not much that could rattle a cowboy like Reese St. James. But when his twin brother dies in a car accident, Reese is stunned to discover he has a six-month old niece, Sawyer. Wanting to make up for lost time, Reese heads down to Unforgiven, New Mexico, to bring her home. He doesn’t plan on Sawyer’s guardian giving him any trouble, but the intriguing, independent woman is turning out to be more than he bargained for.
Lorelei West had given up hope of having a family of her own until her sister’s tragic death brought little Sawyer into her life. And now there’s no way she’s going to let Reese take her away. Lorelei knows hotshot, good-looking cowboys like him — she’s dated enough of them — and she intends to stand her ground. Yet the more time Reese and Lorelei spend together, the harder it is to deny the attraction building between them. But opening their hearts to a baby is one thing — can they also open their hearts to the possibility of a happily-ever-after?

My thoughts on the book:

Let me start off that in the end this book really turned out way better then I expected and I end up liking it in the end for sure. Now that being said this book is told in a first person point of view. The author did include both characters so that was a plus that most authors who write FPV don’t do. I however felt that in the beginning of the book both Reese and Lorelei came off as very whinny which at first came as a turn off, but hang in there it gets better. The storyline was really good and I did feel it go to the heart for sure. There is adult situations in this book so it may not be suitable for all. I did read the first books two of this series so it was nice catching up with Austin, Carly, Nevada and Fish, I still have to say Nevada is one of my favorite characters thus far in this series but in this book Carly took a very close second, they both are friends every girl needs in there life someone who will always have your back no matter what. Yall over all I would totally re-read this book it was worth it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.”

Single mom, Zayda Miller has never been a fan of pageants, particularly this one, but she needs cash and if she could pull it off and win, she could use the sweet prize money to help her achieve her dream. Until they discover they both want the same thing. And for one of them to win, the other will have to lose.

My thoughts on the book:

What a cute story! I love the characters they are fun and the author has a way as you read about them making you feel like they are your friends and you are just catching up. I loved Zayda’s fighting spirit nothing was going to stop her from her dream of making a better life for her little family. I loved how she kept her head high even with some poor choices she made. I like Stratton even though sometimes I want to punch him and tell him to spit it out. Oh my Crockett he and Scout I know he did her wrong but I hope they work things out they just seem like they belong together. This book is a good clean read and suitable for all. Super quick read and it was well worth it.

A Royal Second Chance Summer Viv Royce

Description:

Prince Nicolas is looking for a priceless royal heirloom. Trying to stay under the radar, he keeps that he’s a prince secret—especially from the cute antiques dealer he asks to help him. The longer it takes, the more time they get to spend together, though no matter how attracted he is to Lizzie, love is certainly not an option for the heir to the crown of Belfort.

Lizzie Cates fled her family’s new-found fame and fortune because life in the spotlight wasn’t for her. She loves her small town, where the most exciting thing on the schedule is the car parade for the Fourth of July. That’s just how she likes it, until Nicolas comes along. Lizzie finds herself falling for the caring man who craves the country and small-town life as much as she does.

Except Nicolas has a secret that will shatter both their dreams…

My thoughts on the book:

So I have never read anything by this author or in this series and if the other books in the series are half as good as this one then I can’t wait to read them. I could not put this book down the author has a way of drawing you and where you loose all sense of time and you need to know what’s going to happen. I was a fan of Nicolas for most of the book but there was on part where I literally wanted to just reach into the book and punch him…. UGH!! Hands down one of my favorite characters in the book was Ms. Thornton, her story was so powerful and just seem to leave its mark on your heart for sure. I understand why the author wrote her, but to me it just seemed like so much more. This book was a good clean read and was a quick read. I so want more. So worth grabbing it you won’t be disappointed. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

The Key to My Heart Nikki Lynn Barrett

Description:The Key To My Heart is a series standalone. It can be read by itself, but it is part of the Love and Music in Texas series.

One dream fails, a passion burnt out…

With no set plan and a desire to find a passion, Blaine Grant hightailed it out of Harmony’s Echo a year out of high school to find herself. Finding a passion didn’t come as easily to her as it did for others she knew. Now, Blaine has come home for good with mistakes she’d like to forget, but the past doesn’t want to forget her. Everyone thought she’d been selfish to not come back when she was needed the most, but Blaine never let anyone know the emotional hell she went through.

Another dream is just beginning to see the light…

Randy Hughes has always been the shy guy until he discovered his love of music. It wasn’t until joining the band that he grew out of his shyness. The oldest sibling and the only boy, he’s pressured by family expectations to set a good example. He’s the one who takes everyone in when they need it, and he’s the one whose own dreams are ignored. Now that big things are happening for the Baby Stetson band, Randy has to decide how to handle his family when his dreams are on the line…

A friendship is changing.

One spur of the moment, impulsive move leads Randy and Blaine into a dire situation that may bring them together, or pull them apart, just when he’s finally able to gather the courage to tell Blaine how he’s felt about her all these years…

Revisit the characters you’ve come to know in small town Harmony’s Echo, as more changes settle upon them.

My thoughts on the book:

What I like about this author is that she never sugar coat’s anything, no topic or subject are ever off limits. In this story that was very much the case she has away of always getting to the heart of the matter as well. I really enjoyed this story of Randy and Blaine, I felt like after reading The Melody in my Head I could not wait to find out what happened with them. Blaine and what she faced broke my heart but dang this girl came out swinging and you never knew what she was going to do next. I loved her take no prisoner attitude. Randy is loyal to a fault and at first I thought he had no back bone but at the end of the day that changed and it was hard not to really really like him and root for him. I don’t know what character the author has next for us but I can say if its this same group of friends than I can’t wait for more. This book does have sex and adult language so it may not be suitable for all.
