My Review:
I feel like reading is an escape and adventure you go on between the pages and new places to travel. That was the case in the book the author had a way of making you feel like you were right there in the midst of it all with the characters watching it play out. I like Fraceen she had a huge heart to help women and babies but always try to find healing from something in her past. Scott seemed to be struggling on the journey of life and where it was taking him and what was next. However the relationship he had with his sister Sindy had me laughing. This book does contain adult situations and language so my not be suitable for all. Overall a fun read! I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Meant to Be My Cowboy R.C. Ryan

Description:

A woman on the run must trust her family’s sworn enemy in this thrilling tale by one of the best in cowboy romance.

The cowboy she can’t have . . . is the one she can’t resist.

Annie Dempsey has two rules for her new life in Devil’s Door, Wyoming: no romance and no drama. Fresh off a bad breakup, she’s already avoiding love. And as long as she steers clear of the Merrick clan—her family’s sworn enemies—avoiding drama won’t be a problem. But when a charming stranger steps in to protect Annie from a sudden threat, both her rules fly out the door. Because Annie’s mystery hero . . . is a Merrick.

Jonah Merrick won’t allow anyone—even a Dempsey—to be harmed on his watch. It doesn’t hurt that sweet, gorgeous Annie makes his heart beat like never before. Against his family’s objections, Jonah insists Annie hide out with him at his ranch while they try to outwit a dangerous pursuer. But as the days turn into weeks, Jonah realizes he’ll stop anyone who tries to harm Annie . . . or the loving future they’re building together.

My Review:
Y’all the Merrick family is back and you know if you have been reading this series what that means, HAM is back. This book really didn’t disappoint. I was so happy to get a chance to read it. I realized this book was going to be the last book in the series and I was a little disappointed because if you have been following along Aunt Liz has quickly become one of my favorite characters and I wasn’t sure if we would see much of her in this book. However the author throws a twist in this story and it involves Liz. I liked Annie she was a fighter and ready to take to bat anyone who bad mouthed her or her family. I Liked Jonah but I did feel he just really showed his heart through out and did not keep it close to his vest, you knew where you stood with him thats for sure. The author throws some twist and turns in the book and keeps you guessing what’s going to happen next. There is some adult situations in this book which might not be suitable for all readers. Overall I am sad to see this family go but this book was so worth the read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

My thoughts on the book:

I really have enjoyed this series and this book did not disappoint. Is this predictable yes to a point but on some things the author keeps you guessing to the very end which for me made me not want to stop reading just so I can see what is going to happen next. I did not like Nate at first, but he grows on you and keeps you questioning his motives for sure. Chase was one of the good guys but he also can come off as unlikeable which made it for me the right balance, it keeping me interested in what he was going to do next. I loved Sadie, she was the person that seem to keep the family together and while she did not like her brother because of his choices in the book she does everything she can to help him do what is right.  If you are looking for a fun read that doesn’t disappoint then this book is for you. I liked that the author kept the book clean to a point and makes it complete enjoyable to read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. My Review:

This author seems to Neve disappoint and this book was very much that for me. I feel like the author has a way of making you feel like you are right there in the middle of the action. I really Liked Viv she has appeared in the other two books and so I was excited she got her story. I Like Jacob as well, in the beginning I felt like he was throwing his weight and being kind of mean, but he quickly grows on you and shows his true colors and he becomes easy to like. And she soon finds Aaron’s formidable exterior hides a sensitivity and caring that she’s quietly drawn to. Can Bethel show him that their practical arrangement is blossoming into so much more—and can be the start of a wonderful future together for all of them?
My Review:

When this book first started I thought that it was set in 1800, early 1900’s, however it becomes clear that is not the case. I honestly felt this book really flowed once it got going and found it hard to put down . It seemed like I was catching up with a friend. I loved the kids in this book even though right off the bat I would have like to gone toe to toe with Sam. I loved Molly’s big heart and Matthew’s sweet spirit I felt like he and Beth were kindred spirits. I had a hard time at first understanding why Aaron chose what he choose to do with Marrying Beth but it does make sense. The author choose a tough topic and she didn’t even try and sugar coat it which was so nice it was a no holding back for sure. I received a complimentary copy of this book. But after losing her beau in a tragic accident, Hallie won’t risk her heart—or her secrets—again.
If Kiah didn’t already feel so connected to GHB, Hallie would be a perfect wife—and it seems most of Hidden Springs’s would-be matchmakers agree! The longer he searches for GHB, the more Kiah finds himself hoping Hallie will be holding the pen that first captured his heart. But will Hallie ever trust Kiah with the truth about her identity . . . and her feelings for him?

My Review:

I was not a fan of this book, I found the characters to be immature and childish like yet the author seemed to also put them into adult situations that just didn’t seem to fit very well with there immaturity. I can honestly say the only person I like in the whole book was the Bishop and Joy they seem to have the most common sense out of the bunch. in the end of the story I was like really that’s it. It just seemed like the author rushed it at the end and left it up to the read to tie it into a nice bow. Overall this book was not for me I received a complimentary copy of this book. The Cowboy’s Vow Leah Vale

3 out of 4 stars

Description:

He lives his life by the book. She wants to throw it out.

After promising his dying mother he’d protect his family and their rodeo rough stock legacy, Ian Neisson has devoted his life to keeping the Wright Ranch thriving. So when an ambitious FBI agent arrives in town implying Ian’s grandfather might be involved in a modern-day rustling ring, Ian, true to his word, steps up to help with her investigation in order to keep his family safe. His heart, however, is in danger from the green-eyed beauty with secrets of her own.

The last thing FBI Special Agent Jessie Martin wants is to go undercover working closely with a cowboy. She’s had her fill of cowboy charm and empty promises, and Ian Neisson, despite being the handsome poster boy for the proverbial Cowboy Way, spells trouble. But she’s a professional looking for advancement, and Ian is a way into the tight rodeo community. If only he didn’t threaten her resolve to forever leave her boots, roots and all things cowboy behind.

My Review:
I thought this story was cute, but completely predictable as well. I liked Jessie she was a fighter and didn’t need anyone but wanted someone in her life but it just didn’t seem possible with her job. I like Ian he was a bit of a mystery but his family came first and he would do anything to protect them no matter the cost. I always love reading about small towns you never know what you are going to get and I felt that way with this book as well. In the end do you find out what happens yes but I also feel like there was some questions that just seemed like I needed to know more. This book does have adult content and may not be suitable for all ages. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

My Review:I

really liked this book. I told my husband I needed to finish this book because I needed to solve the case. Thats how it felt that you were solving the case right along with Jane, Reid and Jane’s staff. I really Liked Jane she was a fighter and she struggled but had no problem letting it out there and question her own faith. I liked how the author didn’t make everything seem so “perfect” but showed that they struggled even in the good times. I also liked the author kept is cleaned and a good read for all. Overall this book is so worth the read! I received a complimentary copy of this book. Sandcastle Beach Jenny Holiday

4 out of 5

Description:

From the USA Today bestselling “master of witty banter” (Entertainment Weekly) comes a hilarious and heartwarming romance about two enemies whose feud turns red-hot.Maya Mehta will do anything to save her tiny, beloved community theater. Put on musicals she hates? Check. Hire an arrogant former-pop-star-turned-actor? Done. But what Maya really needs to save her theater is Matchmaker Bay’s new business grant. She’s got some serious competition, though: Benjamin “Law” Lawson, local bar owner, Jerk Extraordinaire, and Maya’s annoyingly hot arch nemesis. Let the games begin.
Law loves nothing more than getting under Maya’s skin, and making those gorgeous eyes dance with irritation. But when he discovers the ex-pop star has a thing for Maya, too, Law decides he’s done waiting in the wings-starting with a scorching-hot kiss. Turns out there’s a thin line between hate and irresistible desire, and Maya and Law are really good at crossing it. But when things heat up, will they allow their long-standing feud to get in the way of their growing feelings?

My thoughts on the book:

I will start off saying I did not read book one of this series but I did two and three now and I still fill like I love the matchmakers they are hilarious. In this book they are back to there “manipulation” . I really liked the banter between Law and Maya they have a love hate relationship and you can’t help but to get invested into it and laugh. I was not a fan at all of Holden, he just rubbed me the wrong way and I was so over him with in a few minutes into his story. There is sexual content and adult language through out this book so may not be suitable for all. I would say I thought this was a fun book I hope this is not it for this series and we get to find out what happens with more of the fun characters we have meet through out this story and the other books. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Darcy may not believe that he really intends to quit the bull riding circuit and stick around this time but Jason vows—with the help of the matchmaking Widows Club—to pull out all the stops to convince her that they both deserve a second chance.
My thoughts on the book:

I really liked this book, honestly I have really enjoyed this series its been so fun. I really hope this is not the end of the Matchmakers they always seem to be up to no good which will guarantee you laughing alone the way. I feel like this was such a romantic comedy and I wasn’t sure if I was laughing or crying. I loved Darcy even though she faced so much she was a true fighter and ready to be this strong independent women with out her families past hanging over her head. Jason was an outsider looking in but was not willing to stand on the sidelines no matter what. I finished this book in one setting and it was so worth the read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
