Leap into action with this high-octane, breakneck new series from bestselling author Susan May Warren.

My thoughts on the book:

Where to begin with this book. So you know when you get on a rollercoaster and it starts off slow then starts to pick up and slows down a little then some twist and turns and then slows for a sec before the last climb and the biggest drop and the whole time you are holding on for dear life because you don’t know what’s coming, yeah well that is this book. If had be guessing what was going to happen next and who was going to live, die and who was going to make the next biggest jump. So so good. I will say this while there was a small part in the book I really wish the author would have followed up it did not break the whole book for me, I just wanted to know what happened lol. I loved that the author held nothing back, the author does take you all over with your emotions and yet kept the book a clean read and suitable for all. I would say give yourself some time because once you start you will not want to stop reading. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

With the stakes getting higher by the moment in a twisted conspiracy, there’s a rush against the clock to determine whom they can really trust. As allies turn to enemies, the biggest secret yet to be uncovered could be the end of all of them.

My thoughts on the book:

“I think they might be keeping dead bodies in their condo”. Any book that starts off with that sentence you know you are in for a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I could not put this book down I really wanted to know what was going to happen next. The author truly keeps you guessing from beginning to end. At one point I thought I had it all figured out and then the author would throw in a twist and keep you winding what was going to happen next. I really can’t say I had a favorite character in this book I have to say I really enjoyed everyone on the team for all different reasons and I really want to know what happens with them. I like Izzy and how she held back but when things needed done she got them done. This book is a good clean read and you will not regret reading this book.

Description:

But after spending time together, Grace confesses that she might not want to marry her fiancé after all. Can Zeke convince her that her true love is standing right in front of her? And can she find the courage to follow her heart?

My thoughts on the book:

I like this story it was cute and down to earth. I did however feel like parts of the story did drag on. Without giving much away I wish the main subject or at least it felt like the main subject would have been handled a lot sooner in the book and the secondary situation would have played out sooner so there could be more of that story and less of the other. I loved Zach he felt like wasn’t good enough but he always seemed to keep his head up and keep fighting for what was right. I was not a huge fan of Vernon and I wish we found out more about Jon. I liked Grace a lot to she was reckless, fun, independent and reliable and you could totally feel like you could be friends with her. This book was a good clean read and fun to boot. You can’t go wrong.  I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

My One and Only Cowboy A.J. Pine

Description:

From this “fabulous storyteller” (Carolyn Brown, New York Times bestselling author) comes the first book in an all-new western romance series.
Delaney Harper thought she’d seen the last of Meadow Valley two years ago after she divorced her lying, cheating, gambler of a husband who left her broken-hearted and, well, just flat broke. But news that her ex sold their property—without legally removing her from the deed—means heading back to claim her share of the land—and possibly her dream.

Sam Callahan, co-owner of the Meadow Valley guest ranch, is barely keeping his head above water. He bought the land for a steal, but keeping a new business afloat is another story. When a gorgeous blonde barges onto his property on a quiet Friday afternoon insisting he bought the place in a fraudulent sale—and that she’s there to prove she still owns half the land—Sam realizes he’s got much more to worry about. He could lose everything—including his heart.

My thoughts on the book:

This book was not for me, I had a hard time just getting into it. I really did like Delaney and her take no prisoners and her independent attitude. I was not huge fan of Sam he came off as whinny. I felt like a lot of the book dragged. I did like Ben he was fun to read about and I liked Scout too. This book does have sex and adult Lagrange thought out so may not be suitable for all readers. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Can Elam help Sadie unravel the truth behind a stalker’s obsession before she becomes his next victim? And if he does, will he lose Sadie forever when she leaves the way of life he can’t imagine walking away from.

From USA Today Bestselling Author Mary Alford comes a brand new Amish Suspense series that will take you to the stunning vistas of the Mission Mountains of Montana where even in the quiet St. Ignatius Amish Community, danger and intrigue lurks!

My thoughts on the book:

In most amish book is always about the good and how they struggle with something in their life styles or leaving the religion. In this book the author took you for a twist and turn, super twisted for sure, but very realistic. I really liked Sadie, and her Mom they were both very stubborn and strong willed but very out spoken and they author made you feel like you were catching up with friends. I wish Elam would have been a little bit more spoken but he and his brother hands down had hearts of gold and would do anything for those they love. This book was a quit read and you really can’t go wrong with this book.

Seconds to Live Susan Sleeman

Description:

But before he can even get started, the first witness is targeted and barely escapes with her life. Sean believes Phantom, an obsessed hacker who previously outwitted the top minds in the field, is behind the attack, and Sean needs this witness’s help, as she’s the person who has come closest to discovering Phantom’s identity.

Trouble is, she’s a witness under the care of US Marshal Taylor Mills, and Sean is reluctant to work with the captivating marshal who knows his deepest secrets. But Phantom claims he knows where the witness is hiding and will kill her, so to stop the hacker, Sean and Taylor must work through their personal pain and learn to trust each other. . . . The seconds are ticking down before someone dies.

My thoughts on the book:

I can honestly say I am ready for the next book I want to know what’s the team is up to next. I found Dustee had her moments sometimes she acted like a child and other times like the adult she is, she kind of was borderline annoying. The author did a good job keeping you guessing and wondering what was going to happen next. That being said there was a part towards the end that kind of dragged for a chapter or two but over all I found the book hard to put down. I was not a fan of the epilogue I won’t give the reason why as it will ruin what happens in the book. I will say that this is a clean read and there is so much suspense you will want to finish it in one setting just to find out what happened. I would totally recommend this book and I really can’t wait to read more about what’s happening next with the Montgomery Three. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

My thoughts on the book:

If you have never read anything by this author start here. I could not put this book down from beginning to the end. I loved the main characters Erin and Jax, both were complete fighters and would not stop at anything to bring justice to for their friends. I really also enjoyed how the author literally keeps you guessing till the end, trust me you will think you have it all figured out and then the author those in a twist. Before I realized this book was part of a series there is a character I wished the author would have followed up with but now I know its a series I can’t wait to read more about these characters and what’s going to happen next. This book is a clean read so suitable for all. Seriously grab this book you won’t regret it.

Baby Stetson Nikki Lynn Barrett

Description:

In small Texas towns, strangers come and go…

Left in a Stetson hat on the steps of the local bed and breakfast, Avery Callimer came into the world on a wing and a prayer. Raised by loving adoptive parents, she’s never lacked for love … only the knowledge of her past.
By day she works at the inn, but by night … Avery comes alive as the lead singer in a band. Life was good … stable, until new guests blew into town.

Some strangers come with secrets and lies.

Lucas Bennett is one such stranger. Drifting from one mess to another has left him jaded. Doesn’t matter the dramas are never his doing. Giving it one last shot to make a fresh start lands him Harmony’s Echo, Texas and smack dab in front of the tantalizing Avery.

Every time they’re near each other, things heat up like a brushfire on a dry Texas prairie.
He’s intent to keep his distance, but finds it difficult to ignore the burn Avery’s ignited within. Secrets have followed him. Secrets he doesn’t want Avery to know.

Maybe, after the dust settles and the smoke clears, love can bloom with a fresh start.

My thoughts on the book:
Hands down Jameson was one of my favorites in this book. I liked how the author kept things with him and Avery, no matter what they faced their friendship was first and foremost. The twist the author through in I saw something coming but that caught me out of left field. I liked Lucas and I liked how he had his own Demons he was facing. What I loved about this book was that the author didn’t make one single character “perfect”, yet they all seemed perfect for each other and the trials they faced together. This book does have some sex and cursing so may not be suitable for all. Hands down this author did not disappoint in this book at all. I can’t wait to read Jameson’s story next

But when a real estate developer sets his sights on the Elliott land, Lucky will have to decide if the money means security for his family, or if he’ll fight for Sleigh Bell with Rachel by his side.

My thoughts on the book:

What there perfect book to put you into the Christmas spirit. It has a noisy family and small town ready to help neighbors and hot cowboy and cowgirl I mean what more does it need. This book really was a fun read, the author has you laughing and crying all at once. I enjoyed coming back and reading about Marrietta. This book does have sex in it but it does not have any foul language. I really enjoyed how not matter what Patrick and Lucky were close like brothers and they seemed like two peas in a pod. I lived Rachel and Cloe for the same they were like sister and always willing to do anything for each other. OH and I loved Bill I think we all have a Bill in our lives for sure. If you are looking for a fun book this one will not disappoint.

The Bake Shop Amy Clipston

Description:

Return to Lancaster County with the first installment of Amy Clipston’s charming new Amish Marketplace series.

Christiana Kurtz loves to bake, but when her bake stand becomes too busy, her mother encourages her to move her business to the local market. Her new bake shop becomes so inundated with customers that the line blocks the leather and woodcraft shop next door, which is run by Jeffrey Stoltzfus. When Jeffrey complains that her stand is driving away business due to the lines, she complains to him that his personalization machine smells. Though their relationship starts off on bad footing, they eventually forge a friendship.

When Christiana’s father makes a surprise visit to the market, he is upset to find that Jeffrey uses the building’s electricity to personalize his items. He tells Christiana that Jeffrey is too modern for her, and she’s forbidden from dating him. Christiana is crushed, but she knows she must obey her father.

When Jeffrey’s shop catches fire one day, he puts the entire market in jeopardy—including Christiana’s bake shop. Christiana, however, can’t deny how she feels about Jeffrey despite his mistakes. Though the odds are against them, can two young people find a way to rebuild both their businesses and their relationship?

My thoughts on the book:

I have read Amy’s book in the past so I was excited to get a chance to read this one. I liked Christiana and the relationship she had with her sister and her cousins they were fun to read about and the close relationship was more like a bunch of sisters instead of cousins. I also enjoyed the relationship with Jeff and Nick, Nick was that annoying little brother you just have to love no matter what. When the information comes out about Christiana’s dat it broke my heart and made everything makes sense. I did feel like it was pretty predictable but over all a really fun read. This book is suitable for all ages and is a good clean read if you love amish reads or a good love story this book is totally worth the read. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley.
