Montana Christmas Magic Kaylie Newell

 Description:

Can a rescue dog help two lost souls find love at Christmas?

All accountant Griffin Cole wants for Christmas is stability. After spending his childhood traveling the world with his one-hit wonder rocker dad, he loves his quiet and unremarkable life in Marietta. Then the beautiful Raelyssa Woods knocks on his door. Her bold spirit immediately turns his predictable life upside down, and suddenly Griffin wants to ask Santa for so much more.

Rae Woods loves running her café in the small Montana town she calls home. She specializes in comfort food because she loves spreading joy to everyone she meets—two-footed or four. But after she impulsively takes in a homeless dog she names Noel, her big heart lands her in bigger trouble when her landlord threatens to toss her out. Grasping at holiday straws, she remembers a cute accountant who owes her a favor—and she happens to know he’s got a fenced yard and hidden soft spot.

When Griffin reluctantly agrees to foster Noel, he inadvertently sets in motion several Christmas miracles that neither he nor Rae could have ever seen coming.

My thoughts on the book:

I loved Noel the author did a great job at her personality just jumping off the pages. I really liked Rae she just had such a big heart and she just seems like someone you would love to know. Griffin has his problems but in this story he felt just as equal as a hero in this story. I really liked the small town story of this book it makes you picture yourself there. I liked the relationship with the brothers even though they didn’t appear a whole lot they seemed like no matter what they were always there for each other. Over all this was a fun and quick read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

USA TODAY Bestselling Author

My thoughts on the book:

Y’all the Blackwell’s are back, and they have sisters!!! I am so excited about this series and this is book one and the author did not disappoint at all. I am really liked Lily she struggles with a slight disability but she did not let it stop her and she seems like she was only able to take so much from the men in her life. She seemed like the hero to me in the story. I liked Connor as well but in some moments I did find him whinny, but he has a big heart and will do anything for those he loves and cares about. Now Danny I wanted to punch him not a fan of him at all. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for more from these sisters and Rudy and Big E, I have no clue what those two are up to but it can only get more interesting. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.”

Luke will have his hands full keeping her safe. But who’s going to keep him safe when he realizes he’s falling–hard–for the daughter of the man he failed to save?

Award-winning author Patricia Bradley introduces you to a new series set in the sultry South that will have you wiping your brow and looking over your shoulder.

My thoughts on the book:

This is a new author for me and this book was pretty good. I felt like in the beginning the author had almost too much going on. I felt like it was hard to figure out what was what but as the story progressed it did become easier to figure out who was who and what was happening. I liked that the book was suspense but I also felt like because there where so many players it made it really easy to figure out what and who did it, I really wish the author would have left a little mystery for the reader. That being said I really liked Luke and Brooke. Brooke has a heart of gold and would doing anything for anyone and would help them regardless she was a fighter and super stubborn and independent which made her good at her job. Luke a man of many mysteries he also has a good side to him while trying to do that right thing in the world. I did like out the author kept the book a clean read and she did discuss some very tough subject but did it in away to bring awareness. This book was a good read overall  I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.”

First Kiss with a Cowboy Sara Richardson

Description:

n national bestselling author Sara Richardson’s first book in the Silverado Lake series, “the pace is fast, the setting’s charming, and the love scenes are delicious” when a risk-taking cowboy convinces a no-nonsense writer to give him a second chance (Publishers Weekly, Starred Review).
Shy and sensible romance writer Jane Harding’s carefully ordered life is crumbling around her. With her latest novel due and her teaching contract at an end, returning home to help plan her best friend’s wedding is a welcome distraction. Yet when Jane discovers that the too-hot-to-handle boy who once tempted her is now the best man — and the rodeo circuit’s sexiest bull rider — her distraction is in danger of becoming a disaster . . .
Toby Garrett is no stranger to risk. But this latest injury could end his rodeo career for good. Thankfully, his recovery at home isn’t as awful as he’d imagined, especially when he comes face-to-face with Jane. The kiss they once shared still fuels his fantasies, but when she walked away, he let her go. Now Toby is determined to fix his mistakes. Can this sweet-talking cowboy prove that the passion still burning between them is worth braving the odds?

My thoughts on the book:

Who doesn’t like a good cowboy book. I found this story super cute. I liked the struggle between the two main characters because it wasn’t just the struggle between each other but the struggles they faced in there every day life. They faced them without coming off as whiney. I liked Beth she was a friend everyone should have, someone willing to love you in spite of. I liked all the characters and small town of this book, I feel like it they could be friends even the old bitty’s. This book does have adult situations but over all it a really fun read and I found it hard to put down wanting to know what the characters were up to next. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

My thoughts on the book:

This book is super powerful, it discusses some very tough subjects. The author also discusses finding forgiveness when life doesn’t look so great. I found this book really hard to put down. I liked how the author held nothing back. The characters felt like so relatable and felt like I was catching up with a friend who was going through something. This author does not disappoint the book draws you in keeps you going to the end. I really hope to read more about the Miracle five and I hope that Ben and Sebastian’s stories will be coming soon. This book is a good clean read though it does discuss some tough topics it’s so worth the read. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. My Kind of Cowboy R. C. Ryan

Description:

his New York Times bestselling author delivers a “page-turning romance” (Nora Roberts) about a city girl on the run and the strong, protective cowboy who keeps her safe.

Brand Merrick is a take-charge cowboy who considers relax a four-letter word. So when an injury lands him six weeks of physical therapy, he intends to keep right on working-until his grandmother hires a therapist to stay at their family ranch. He’s not used to following orders, or slowing down, but Avery Grant has a way of getting him to do things he’d never thought he’d do . . .

Avery hates to admit it, but this super sexy rancher is testing her patience…and her professionalism. She’s a born-and-bred city girl, yet she finds herself drawn to the rugged wilderness and the equally rugged cowboy she’s here to help. But when a threat from her past follows Avery to Montana, it’s Brand who rides to the rescue-if only she’ll put her trust in him, and the growing feelings in her heart.

My thoughts on the book:

I feel like lately every time I get my hands on a book by this author it feels like coming home. She has a way of making you either feel like you are right there or that you are catching up with friends and it was very much that case in this book. I also had a hard time putting this book down. I wanted more so much more. I loved Liz and the brothers and hope their stories are coming soon. I also like how this author tries and keeps the books as close to a clean read. I really liked Avery to me she came off as this person while she faced a lot it didn’t break who she was and she still continued on with life and what it handed her. Brand was a hard nut to crack, but he was still very likable and very much a trustworthy older son who just needed a little push. I seriously can’t wait for more from these fun character and to see what will happen next. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Cowboy Come Home Carly Bloom

Description:

Welcome to Big Verde, Texas, where a love-’em-and-leave-’em cowboy faces his greatest challenge yet—the woman he left behind. Perfect for fans of New York Times bestselling authors Lori Wilde and Carolyn Brown. Some cowboys aren’t cut out to be Prince Charming—and Claire Kowalski knows that better than anyone. She gave her heart to Ford Jarvis two years ago, yet that didn’t keep him from disappearing into the sunset. Now that he’s back in Big Verde, Texas, she’s determined not to make the same mistake twice. But the ruggedly sexy cowboy still knows how to push all her buttons, and avoiding him is nearly impossible when she needs his help.

Ford didn’t plan on returning home—ever—but when he hears that the Kowalski ranch is in trouble, he hightails it back to town. He’s not eager to be reminded of the life he can never have, but his time in Big Verde is only temporary. He’ll stay long enough to get the ranch up and running, then hit the road again. But when Ford finds out the new foreman he’s training is Claire, still as stubborn and beautiful as ever, this cowboy is going to have to decide what matters most—repeating the mistakes of the past or fighting for a future with the only woman he’s ever loved..

My thoughts on the book:

I wanted to like this book the story doesn’t seem original it feel like I have read this story before. Also I felt the author wanted you to see Claire as this strong independent person who was a fighter, but I saw her as a whiney rich girl who wanted what she wanted and tended to whine about it through out the story. I found Ford a broken soul with no where to land. I liked Worth he was fun to read about and I wanted to know more about his story. I liked Henry, Maggie and Travis they had me laughing along with Bubba, Tessa and Jd. This book is for sure an adult read it has cursing and sex through out the book. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. Still, coping with the children’s grief as well as his own, requires extra support. Micah takes them to a counselor who recommends animal therapy. He’s surprised to find an Amish farm that offers just that . . .

Providing animal therapy proved to be the answer—thanks to the help of expert trainer Logan Russell. Together, they not only pay the bills, they make positive changes in children’s lives. Hope loves working with each child, but she takes a special interest in the Miller twins. She even makes Micah smile again—and he does the same for her. In fact, as Micah emerges from his depression, he longs to make them one happy family. But will Hope’s debt to her Englisch trainer, and their close partnership, stand in the way?

My thoughts on the book:
What a sweet story. The story is about finding forgiveness in the broken. I loved Chloe what a spirited child total spit fire for sure she added a huge element to the story in my opinion. At first I was not a fan of Logan I wanted to punch him but he does grow on you a little. Hope was a fighter no matter what she faced she was fighting it head on with the grace and faith of God. This author had a way of getting to your heart and really sucking you into the story to see what will happen next. Nothing seemed to be off limits in this story which made the characters very relatable. This story is a good clean read and suitable for all.

My thoughts on the book:

This book was really hard to put down. This book was also hard to read in a good way the book was very emotional. The author had a way of reaching into your heart and just getting right to the heart of the matter as well. I can honestly say there isn’t one thing that I didn’t like about this book it was so good. I loved the brotherhood between Jackson and his firefighting friends. I loved how Lexie every though she faced some really hard things she was a fighter and would not stop fighting for what she felt in her heart. I like how the author took a group of friends and made them feel more like family. I felt like I was catching up with friends. This book is a clean read and suitable for all.

True Blue Cowboy Debra Holt

Description:

Will his proposal eventually win her heart?

For rancher Chance Braxton, Josie Monroe was the classic girl next door. He’d fallen early and hard, but because her heart had belonged to his careless and indifferent brother, Chance had been permanently friend-zoned since Josie was a teen. Now Josie’s running her failing ranch all alone, and it’s time for Chance to step up and keep a promise he made to her dying mother –  marry Josie and combine their ranches.

Josie Monroe doesn’t want help or need to be saved by anyone – especially her wealthy ranching neighbor and forever thorn in her paw, Chance Braxton. The serious, way-too-handsome cowboy has starred in too many of her fantasies, but he still sees her as a heart-broken girl. She’s a woman now, and she’s determined to prove everyone wrong: She can save her ranch and rebuild her father’s legacy…alone.

When Chance proposes, Josie’s problems are just beginning. So why does her pulse kick up every time he rides by and tips his Stetson?

My thoughts on the book:

First and foremost this was a cute story. However I did find the story completely predictable and because of that sometimes I felt like the story did drag. The story is a marriage of convince story and sometime I felt like I was reading about kids just out of high school not adults. I always like small town romances the town characters will always add a fun element to any story and I felt like that was the same with this story so many fun characters. This story does have some sex scenes and adult situations in it so may not be suitable for all. Over all a fun story just be patient. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.”
