My Review:

If you’ve ever experienced loss, this book will hit you right in the heart. Roxanne has crafted a powerful, emotional journey that explores grief, personal growth, and the unexpected twists life throws at us. Colt—what a character! He’s the kind of person who’s been through a lot but still has so much heart. His selflessness and compassion shine through, making him a truly endearing character. I have to admit, the reveal of JP Malone’s identity completely shocked me! It was such a twist that I never saw coming, and it added an extra layer of depth to the story. The author kept me on my toes, and that’s part of what made this book so hard to put down. Another thing worth mentioning is how the author managed to keep the story clean, focusing on the emotional and character-driven aspects without resorting to unnecessary drama or explicit content. It’s refreshing to find a book that tells such an impactful story while maintaining a wholesome approach. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The emotional highs and lows, the twists, and the strong character development made it a truly rewarding read. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a story that not only entertains but also tugs at your heartstrings. It’s absolutely worth the read.

 Montana Cowboy Miracle Jane Porter

Description:

This Christmas he’s confronting the past…

Wyoming rancher Cade Hunt rents a room in Marietta for the month of December for one purpose—to unravel the mysteries of his past. He’s not interested in the local Christmas festivities, even though his pretty landlord Merri Bradley is more appealing than any woman he can remember.

After losing her husband far too early, hospice nurse Merri has dedicated her life to caring for the grief-stricken during their final goodbyes. She loves her busy and fulfilling life and has no time for a brooding cowboy during her favorite time of year. Yet Cade is tempting, and she’s technically his hostess.

But Marietta is full of Christmas magic and miracles. Soon Cade is embraced by the family he didn’t know he had—a grandfather and four Wyatt cowboy cousins. For the first time in his life, Cade has a sense of belonging and the desire to set down roots if only he can convince Merri that second chances are the best chance for their own happily ever after.

My Review:

So far I haven’t found a book that is in Marietta MT that I don’t like, I feel like its coming home. That was very much the case with this book. I feel like I was catching up with friends and settling in for a fun adventure ahead. I really liked both characters why they both faced there own adversities they both helped those that meant the world to them and helped any one that crossed there path the may be in a tight spot. I loved Merri she had such a huge heart and was just really hard not to like. Cade really tugged at my heart strings he was looking to feel like he belonged somewhere but he just needed to know where that was. I feel like there is more adventures ahead in Marietta and I can’t wait to see where the author takes this family next. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Bestselling author Lynette Eason concludes her latest suspense-filled series with a bang as secrets are revealed and the guilty are brought to justice.

My Review:

I could not put this book down the author did not disappoint at all that’s for sure. Through most of the book it was completely action packed and has you on the edge of your seat. It also feels very much like you are right there. I loved Ava she just went through so much and so many emotions but would let nothing or no one stop her from finding the truth, she was a true fighter. Caden was there to fight for the rights of everyone and get to the bottom of truth and trying to protect Ava without loosing his heart. I really enjoyed reading about the friends of the characters too it felt more like a family then just friends. The author had no problem making you really really dislike the bad guy either but then make you feel bad for him a little too. Overall this book was an amazing read and I can’t wait to see what the author does next with this group of friends. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Cowboy Tough by Michelle Beattie

 Description:

There’s no such thing as a coincidence…

Ryker Granger can’t believe his luck when he meets a beautiful woman stranded on the side of the road outside of Last Stand, Texas. Normally this rancher and part-time mechanic would be too reserved to jump into a relationship, especially since his family is still reeling from questions surrounding their father’s heart attack. But his life’s a tangled mess and Shannon is a welcome distraction.

Shannon Smith set out to meet Ryker Granger. Her staged car breakdown was only the beginning of her plan. Meeting Ryker is her chance to right the wrongs his father inflicted on her family. Her plan skews wildly off course—she only meant to score a date, not fall in love. And Ryker’s a straight arrow; he’ll never forgive such blatant deception. But how can she walk away from the man who has claimed her heart?

As Ryker solves the mystery around his father and learns why Shannon came to Last Stand, he faces his toughest choice yet. Forgive a lie or lose the woman he loves forever?

My thoughts on the book:

I liked the story over all. I liked Shannon and how her heart was in the right place and how she wanted what was best for her sister, niece and her family. I loved how she went after what she wanted and also dealt with the consequences of those choices. Ryker also had a heart for his family and wanted to help bring his family or at least his brothers back together. What I was not a fan of was I felt like the author repeated herself a lot for the majority of the book. This book does have adult situations and strong language in it. Over all I would say the story does get to your heart and it was a good read. I would love to read Hudson’s story and find out what happens next with him. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Lassoed by the Would-Be Rancher Melinda Curtis

Description:

USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR

If there’s a way to her heart…

…he’ll jump at the chance!

CEO Shane Monroe sticks out like a sore thumb in Second Chance, Idaho, where he’s investigating his grandfather’s connection to the town’s folklore of stolen treasure. Feisty local Franny Clark ridicules his city-slicker ways but allows Shane to hunt for gold on her land…if he can help save her rodeo ranch. Shane is captivated by Franny’s go-getting attitude, but what will it take for him to win her over?

My thoughts on the book:

I really have enjoyed reading about the Monroe Family they are a fun bunch learning to live and grow with the new circumstances they have been handed. I have to say I was not much a fan of this couple. I loved the Clark children and Gertie they were so fun to read about. I loved Davey and how not matter what he “took the bull by the horns” and ran with it, he was a fighter and it was hard not to love him and his independent spirit. If you have been following the Monroe Family this book will catch you up on the comings and goings and is well worth the read. I also have to say I really liked reading about Bo and Jonah I can’t wait to read more of their stories and see what kind of trouble those to cause. This book is a clean read and so good. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.”

But can she and Danny find a way to fight against Skylar’s wealthy, powerful ex who is dead set on tearing them apart?

“Filled with passion, suspense, and strong characters.”—Rendezvous with Romance on My Favorite Cowboy (5 stars)

My thoughts on the book:

I will say this book did not disappoint at all but the book is super intense as it does deal with Domestic Violence and has you on the edge of your seat almost the whole book. I had a hard time putting this book down. You know who the bad guy is from the beginning but the author keeps you guessing on what is going to happen next and where the story is headed. The author did not sugar coat anything in this story. There is strong language and sex throughout the book so may not be suitable for all readers. This book was really good and completely worth the read. I also loved the “family” aspect of this story and how Danny surround himself with some great people who were not only friends but family and when Danny tried to withdrawal into himself they would set up and draw him back to the flock. Seriously this book will not let you down. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Cowboy Rebel Carolyn Brown

Description:

A wild Texas cowboy is about to meet his match in an ER nurse in this heartwarming romance from a USA Today bestseller, which includes a bonus novella from Annie Rains.
Ever since losing his best friend in a motorcycle accident, Taggart Baker wants to make every moment count. No dare is too dangerous, no adventure too crazy for this cowboy. But after one bad brush with the law, he realizes it’s time to ditch his hooligan friends and grow up. Now he’s running his own ranch next to the Longhorn Canyon spread in Texas. Still, no one would ever call him tame.

Nikki Grady has worked too hard for her RN license just to throw it away for some reckless cowboy who shows up in her emergency room after a barroom brawl. But she can’t help being drawn to Tag’s sense of humor and those crystal blue eyes. The more time they spend together, the more she sees his good heart. But just as Tag seems ready to settle down for good, his troubled past comes calling-and this time he won’t be able to walk away so easily.

Includes the bonus novella A Wedding on Lavender Hill by Annie Rains: When an event planner is asked to create the perfect wedding in just three days, she must turn to the last person she wants to ask for help — the infuriating owner of the house on the hilltop.

My thoughts on the book:

I really liked this book it was a fun read for sure. My heart broke for Nikki I felt so bad for her because of all the things she faced with her mom and how she seemed to crave this “mother/daughter” relationship that just didn’t seem to work because of who her mom is. I really enjoyed how the relationship with Tag and Nikki was a gradual thing and not all about how strong the chemistry was an how to make it work after, it just felt natural. Tag was this bad boy in training but looking for a reason to see more in life and the struggle was so evident with him. I really enjoyed the relationship that Tag has with his siblings and how important they are to him and he is to them even though he choose to “live like he is dying.” Oh my goodness and how can you not love the fab 5 and the fun they add they were such a hoot. I loved how the author used a ton of country song reference in the book which was fun. This book has some a adult language and situations. This book was fun read and I can’t wait to read more from these fun characters I really can’t wait to see what happens with Hud and the Irish Brothers soon. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion
