 Montana Cowboy Miracle Jane Porter

Description:

This Christmas he’s confronting the past…

Wyoming rancher Cade Hunt rents a room in Marietta for the month of December for one purpose—to unravel the mysteries of his past. He’s not interested in the local Christmas festivities, even though his pretty landlord Merri Bradley is more appealing than any woman he can remember.

After losing her husband far too early, hospice nurse Merri has dedicated her life to caring for the grief-stricken during their final goodbyes. She loves her busy and fulfilling life and has no time for a brooding cowboy during her favorite time of year. Yet Cade is tempting, and she’s technically his hostess.

But Marietta is full of Christmas magic and miracles. Soon Cade is embraced by the family he didn’t know he had—a grandfather and four Wyatt cowboy cousins. For the first time in his life, Cade has a sense of belonging and the desire to set down roots if only he can convince Merri that second chances are the best chance for their own happily ever after.

My Review:

So far I haven’t found a book that is in Marietta MT that I don’t like, I feel like its coming home. That was very much the case with this book. I feel like I was catching up with friends and settling in for a fun adventure ahead. I really liked both characters why they both faced there own adversities they both helped those that meant the world to them and helped any one that crossed there path the may be in a tight spot. I loved Merri she had such a huge heart and was just really hard not to like. Cade really tugged at my heart strings he was looking to feel like he belonged somewhere but he just needed to know where that was. I feel like there is more adventures ahead in Marietta and I can’t wait to see where the author takes this family next. I received a complimentary copy of this book. The Cowboy’s Christmas Jeannie Watt

Description:

Christmas in Marietta, Montana, is a season of magic and second chances…

Wayward cowboy Quinn Harding doesn’t have a secret—he is a secret. Or he was until his rancher brothers learned of his existence and insisted on meeting up. But Quinn’s reluctant—he’s always been a lone cowboy, enjoying his quiet isolation and taking pride in his ranch work. He’s not a man who’s ever dreamed of a home or family, but when an accident forces him into temporary employment at a small family ranch, he begins to rethink his life’s choices.

Since losing her husband two years ago during the holidays, Savannah Dunn has dodged people and Christmas, preferring the beauty and solitude of her ranch. But now that she’s playing temporary parent to her twin nieces, she desperately needs to rekindle her holiday spirit and sense of fun for the sake of the girls.

Can she and the quiet, gorgeous ranch hand bring the joy of Christmas to the ranch without either of them losing their hearts?

My Review:

I thought this book was cute. I laughed a lot but I also felt that if got to the heart of the matter as well. I Liked Quinn he had such a big heart and he just over all was a good person. I liked how he didn’t try to pretend everything was ok with what took place with his brothers but tried to work through it on his own time. I liked Savannah she also cared a lot for those she loved, but I also feel that she also was very stand offish which made her hard to connect with. I felt like she really did live in the grief. I loved the girls and Deke they were just really hard not to like they added a fun element to this story for sure. Overall all this was a fun read and well work it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. But as they team up to return the Christmas spirit to his Colorado mountain chateau, sparks fly and Kara realizes she needs to let go of her own pain to embrace the love she’s beginning to feel in her heart.

My Review:

I have always like this author in the past and this book I will have to say just didn’t do it for me. I did like Kara she has a huge heart and will do just about anything for anyone even those she doesn’t know. I have to say sadly my favorite characters were not the main characters but those who had cameos throughout. Richard annoyed me I found him to be very selfish and self centered from the beginning and was not a fan but his kids oh my the cutest ever and I loved the dog. I was also a huge fan of HIs parents. I feel like the story was a lot of push and pull and a lot of misunderstanding and for grown adult it just seemed to much. Overall the story was cute just had a few dragging parts also the author kept the story clean which is always a plus with me so it makes it suitable for all readers.  I received a complimentary copy of this book. Description:

She’s fallen for her own fantasy…will a real future with him be enough?

Bored by years of underwhelming dating experiences, copywriter Grace McGovern combines her love of Christmas and her longing for romance into the ultimate romance novel—where the heroine is swept off her feet one Christmas by tender, thoughtful, romantic…and utterly unrealistic dates. When he meets a woman whose warm smile and conversation intrigue him, Owen is ready to try again but knows he needs to up his game. What’s the harm in borrowing a few ideas?

Can the Christmas magic last forever, or will their relationship dissolve into another ho-hum holiday fling?

My Review:

I really liked this book it started off feeling very much Hallmarkish. It so cute and puts you in the holiday spirits. I loved Grace she said what she wanted and did it in a way that she was kind about it. I loved how she also knew what she wanted and also loved and cared so much for others. I really enjoyed her relationship with Beth what an amazing friendship those two have. I liked Owen why he seemed to value others opinions he also on the flip side he beat to his own drum and was willing to step out of his comfort zone. I loved his relationship with his sister they just had an sweet relationship and played perfect into this story. I love that the author kept is clean and this book was well worth the read. I think this book would be a fun read for all. I received a complimentary copy of this book. My Review:

This author did not disappoint with this book. I could not put this book down from page one till the end. It defiantly started off with a twist and the author kept them coming from start to finish. I really liked Erin she was a fighter and she loves hard and cares for those close to her. I liked Nathan as well he Loved his dad and would do anything for him including getting to the bottom of who’s after him and those he loves. I liked that even in the end when you finally have an idea of who did it that author those you a curve ball you didn’t see coming and leaves you wanting so much more. Overall this book was well worth the read, its a clean read and will not disappoint. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Cold Case Investigators

Book 1: Cold Case Takedown
Book 2: Cold Case Double Cross
Book 3: Yuletide Cold Case Cover-Up

My Review:

As always this author did not disappoint with this book. This is one of those books where your like ok I will read a few chapters then go to bed and before you know the book has only a few chapters left and you have to be up in a few hours but you are so sucked into the story you need to finish it. Throughout the whole book you think you know who did it and Poppy and Rhett feel they know who did it and then BAM!!! not what you thought. I loved Beth and her sisterDelilah I so want them to have there happily ever after and I am not sure if the author plans something but I am rooting for them. I really over all enjoyed this book put me on the edge of my seat and just enjoyed it so much I really liked the banter from Rhett and Poppy and Poppy and her brother Tack they made a tough situation in the book laughable at time and it just helps break up a little of the suspense. Overall this book is worth the read.

My Review:

This is a new to me author so of course I wasn’t sure what to expect. I will say the author did not disappoint I kind of feel invested in all these characters lives now. I loved Andrew he was the best friend/brother anyone truly could as for and with such an active role in this book I want him to have HIs happy ever after for sure. I liked Ava and Jenna their personalities seem to shine off the pages. With some of the things that Both Maverick and Kennedy reached faced I found this book more on the  emotional side of a rom-com. I felt like they were both stubborn and pig headed and they would push each others buttons which added to the laughter of it all. There is some adult situations in this book that may not be suitable for all readers. Over all I did enjoy this book it did drag in a few parts but when it was good it was really good and made up for it, such a fun read.  I received a complimentary copy of this book. “A captivating romance novel with a sexy cowboy making this perfect for anyone who loves a steamy romantic read.” – Fresh Fiction on My Favorite Cowboy

My Review:

So when I first started this book I did not know what to expect since I am not one to read the back/description of a book but judge a book by its cover. I will say I was not disappointed but if you are like me this book is not what it seems. It will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to the end and have you even holding your breath waiting to see what is going to happen next. I love Vic she has such a huge heart and I am not sure what the authors plans are for her but I hope we get to read her story. Carlos is also a great side character he truly had Dwight’s best interest at heart and when it mattered most. Dwight and Emmy where fun to read about I felt for Emmy but her heart was in the right place and Dwight would stop at nothing to protect what was his. This book does has some adult situations in it so may not be suitable for all readers. Overall this book was a fun read and well worth it.

Christmas Grace Mindy Steele

Description:

Second chances and the Christmas spirit abound in Mindy Steele’s heartwarming novel, one of faith, love, and the power of community.

Grace Miller believed herself in love with the charming Englischer who eventually broke her heart. Now alone except for the secret life growing inside her, she arrives in the unfamiliar small village of Walnut Ridge, Kentucky, to hide and hopefully gain forgiveness.

She is pleasantly surprised, however, to find a tight-knit, welcoming group who help her heart grow right alongside her belly. And with the holidays around the corner, there’s plenty of preparations to occupy her mind. Also occupying her mind? Her strong, protective neighbor, Cullen Graber, the town’s blacksmith, who seems intent on not allowing her to ever suffer alone.

Cullen Graber gave up on love after too many losses early in life. He planned to live out his days focusing on his smithy business, yet the beautiful and mysterious Grace refuses to leave his thoughts. But can they open their hearts to God’s grace and create a new family together before Grace must return home?

My Review:

I really, really liked this book. I feel like Grace was so relatable and why not many face her situations I feel that as Christians we all at one point have wondered if we deserve the forgiveness God gives us. Grace while faced with a tough situation she took things in stride and you seem to “watch” her grow as the story went on. Cullen oh man I liked him to his heart was always in the right place to help those who needed help. He truly loved deeply and with the losses he faced he seem to not have a wall around his heart and he was open to what God gave him. This book is a clean read and I really felt like I was catching up with friends why reading it. I love Tess and you will need to read the book to find out why, because I would just give to much away about her. Overall I could not put this book down and this was a quick read and a really good book to me. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Will an antique sled be the last straw, or will it lead to unexpected revelations and the fulfillment of dreams?

My Review:

I really Like this author, However I was not a fan of this book at all. This book is about a married couple who is struggling in their relationship. I feel like Rhonda was very whiney and just was looking for a reason out of her relationship. Jeff was selfish and self centered and seem to really careless about his wife or her feelings. I Loved Orley and Lois they were a super sweet couple and wish that they could have had amazing things happen in there lives as well. Over all this book was a clean read but I was not a huge fan of this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
