“Laura Trentham creates a romance that is both extremely sensual and phenomenal.”
Fresh Fiction

My thoughts on the book:

I liked that characters in this book, I liked Holt he was just this good guy with a good heart and was willing to help Claire even when she didn’t want it. Claire she was running from a future she wasn’t she she wanted but the was also not use to letting people close so she came off as a bit of a witch. She however would not stop at anything to help Mrs. Meadows. I liked Mrs. Meadows she was a pistol. There was adult situations in this book, over all was a super fun read and was super enjoyable. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion

Cowboy Tough by Michelle Beattie

 Description:

There’s no such thing as a coincidence…

Ryker Granger can’t believe his luck when he meets a beautiful woman stranded on the side of the road outside of Last Stand, Texas. Normally this rancher and part-time mechanic would be too reserved to jump into a relationship, especially since his family is still reeling from questions surrounding their father’s heart attack. But his life’s a tangled mess and Shannon is a welcome distraction.

Shannon Smith set out to meet Ryker Granger. Her staged car breakdown was only the beginning of her plan. Meeting Ryker is her chance to right the wrongs his father inflicted on her family. Her plan skews wildly off course—she only meant to score a date, not fall in love. And Ryker’s a straight arrow; he’ll never forgive such blatant deception. But how can she walk away from the man who has claimed her heart?

As Ryker solves the mystery around his father and learns why Shannon came to Last Stand, he faces his toughest choice yet. Forgive a lie or lose the woman he loves forever?

My thoughts on the book:

I liked the story over all. I liked Shannon and how her heart was in the right place and how she wanted what was best for her sister, niece and her family. I loved how she went after what she wanted and also dealt with the consequences of those choices. Ryker also had a heart for his family and wanted to help bring his family or at least his brothers back together. What I was not a fan of was I felt like the author repeated herself a lot for the majority of the book. This book does have adult situations and strong language in it. Over all I would say the story does get to your heart and it was a good read. I would love to read Hudson’s story and find out what happens next with him. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Falling for Her Laurie LeClair

 Description:

The girl next door is now the woman he’s falling for.

As her ten year high school reunion approaches, Becca Thompson feels the pinch of not accomplishing enough since graduation. Romance has been an even bigger bust. Longing for more, she decides to organize a fall harvest festival and community fundraiser on her family’s orchard. But Becca gets more than she bargained for when she asks her childhood friend to help. Suddenly her bestie is making her knees weak and her heart flutter.

Jason Fox is dedicated to his veterinarian practice and raising funds to make his dream animal shelter a reality. When he’s sidelined by an injury, he takes a break and returns home to Cupid’s Corner. But from the moment he sees Becca, everything’s different. She’s no longer the young girl he picked apples and pumpkins with—she’s a self-reliant, beautiful woman.

Jason helps Becca with the festival, but the more time they spend together the harder it is to ignore the sparks. Can leaving the friend zone end in love or will it ruin everything?

My thoughts on the book:

I loved these characters and the fact that the author included dogs as a big part of the story was just the cherry on top. While the story was somewhat predictable it was also very refreshing. I loved Mr and Mrs. Valentine what a sweet couple they were hard not to love. I did not read the other books in the series so I can’t tell you if there was any follow up on other characters. I like Stacy she jumped on the pages and seem to be a great sister and didn’t take much from Jason she didn’t give back. I liked that the author kept this book a clean read so that it would be suitable for all. Overall this book was a quick read and I really enjoyed it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. A Cowboy’s Proposal C.J. Carmichael

Description:

She’s not willing to forgive. He’s unable to forget.

One year ago, Montana cowboy Dylan McLean left the love of his life at the altar and fled town, thinking he was doing the right thing by saving her from a scandal. He’s found success on the rodeo circuit, but his love for Cathleen never faded. Now he’s returned home to clear his name, claim his bride and rebuild his legacy.

Bed-and-breakfast owner Cathleen Shannon has moved on from her broken heart. That is, until Dylan shows up at her house one night asking for help and a second chance. Despite Dylan’s betrayal, she promises to assist with his investigation. She doesn’t want an innocent man to go to jail, but her heart is most definitely off limits.

But Cathleen has forgotten one important fact: Dylan is relentless when he’s going after something he wants. He walked away once, but she won’t let that happen again.

My thoughts on the book:

I really like this author you never know where she is going to take a story and that was the same case with this book. This book was a tough book for sure it dealt with domestic violence which is something it seems most people don’t want to talk about it and this author held nothing back. This book was so good. I will be honest I wanted to smack Dylan in the head so many times through out this book. He was so cocky, but in the next breathe I wanted to give him a hug because the stuff he dealt with. Oh my did I like Cathleen and Poppy, they were hands down my favorite. Cathleen was a fighter and a strong girl who was ready to fight for what she wanted. Poppy man I want to know more of her story and she was a sweet women who was ready be a mama to Cathleen and anyone who came into the B and B. Over all this book was such a fun read and I can’t wait to read more from these sisters. I am so ready to hear what happens with Maureen. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Home for the Holidays Sara Richardson

 Description:

“Sara Richardson writes unputdownable, unforgettable stories from the heart” in this emotional holiday novel, where three sisters have one last Christmas to confront their pasts before their lives change forever (Jill Shalvis, New York Times bestselling author).
The Buchanan sisters all share special childhood memories of their Aunt Sassy’s beloved Juniper Inn. There, they frolicked in the snow, baked sugar cookies, and celebrated the town’s annual Christmas extravaganza. They haven’t been back to Colorado in nearly fifteen years, but when their aunt invites them for one last Christmas, they can’t say no . . .
With her ex-husband whisking her children away for the holiday, Dahlia decides it’s time to do something for herself. Juniper Springs is just as beautiful as she remembers, but it’s also full of surprises — including the town’s handsome doctor, who makes her feel like herself again for the first time in years.
To the outside world, baker Magnolia has the ideal marriage. Only the pain and sorrow of infertility have strained her relationship with her husband, perhaps beyond repair. But a holiday miracle is about to change her life.
After a whirlwind romance, youngest sister Rose is about to be married, but as the wedding draws near, she’s unsettled by her fiancé’s expectations that she become a society wife. Spending Christmas with her family could be a necessary reality check — or the beginning of a brand-new happily ever after.
Thanks to the strength of their sisterhood, some mistletoe, and the love of their Aunt Sassy, the Buchanan sisters will discover what it is they truly want this Christmas.

My thoughts on the book:

WOW!!!  That was my reaction to this book. I feel in love with the cover and always have enjoyed this author so I dug in blinding have not a clue what the book was about. I so enjoyed it. I love the closeness of the sisters. I love Sassy, oh my what a pistol she is. I also liked how the author didn’t even try and sugar coat any of the sisters lives, because of this the sisters felt like I was catching up with friends. The sisterhood in this book will make you long for that if you don’t have it and will make you appreciate it even more if you do have it. This book is not necessarily about one love story but family the most important thing ever. I loved that the author kept this story a good clean read and it will put you in the mood for Christmas that’s forsake. Seriously you can not go wrong with this book. I am not sure if the author plans a follow up in the future but I am ready for more from these three. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Montana Wishes by Amy Vastine

 Description:

Caught between friendship

and falling in love…

Amanda Harrison’s life is changing way too fast. Discovering that she’s really one of the Montana Blackwells was hard enough. Now Blake Collins—her best friend and the guy Amanda’s secretly in love with—is engaged to someone else. But Montana cowboy country has a way of claiming its own. And being a Blackwell means Amanda must learn how to fight for herself…and for the love she deserves.USA TODAY Bestselling Author

My thoughts on the book:

I have to say this book was hands down a tough book emotionally for me to read, and I just could not put it down. If any women has ever struggled with infertile you can relate to Amanda for sure. This author held nothing back and didn’t even try and sugar coat Amanda’s struggles. Blake was the biggest goofball it seemed but he also had a heart of gold. He wanted what he wanted and would stop at nothing to get it, well until a wrench was thrown in and then he starts to question a ton. I love these sisters and I love how the Blackwells welcome them into the family. I will be honest there was one part in the book where I wanted to smack Ben but you need to read to find out why. I also loved catching up with Connor and Lily from Montana Welcome. I can not wait to read more about these 5 sisters in the coming books. This book is a good clean read and was well worth it…. ps grab some tissues you will need them.  I received a complimentary copy of this book. Part of the Pelican Harbor series

Book One: One Little LieBook

Two: Two Reasons to RunBook

Three: Three Missing Days (available April 2021)

My thoughts on the book:

I did not read the first book in the series, while I feel like I missed something and plan on reading it next the author did catch a reader up to date in this book. I could not put the book down the author keeps you on the edge of your seat from page one, when you think you know who did it, the author those a twist and takes you down a whole other path. I loved Will he was a strong headed kid with a big heart. Jane has a broken spirit but when it comes to Will she will stop at nothing to protect him, even if that means setting aside her feelings for Reid. I did not like the end of the book because it leaves you hanging and I want to know what happens. Otherwise this book was amazing and is a clean read. Serenity’s Song Cathryn Hein

 Description:

He’s got a history of bad decisions—is he finally about to make the right one?

Jesse Hargreaves can’t outrun his notorious bad boy reputation. Betrayed by a woman he trusted, he retreats to his hometown, Wirralong, to serve as his brother’s best man and rebuild his life. But change isn’t easy, and it’s even harder when Jesse has to fight his fierce attraction to the maid of honour—a woman well aware of the darkness in his past.

Beautician Serenity Strachan’s flippant one-liners and vibrant hair colours are armour to protect her fragile heart. She’s always crushed on Jesse, but she’s determined to keep him and his sordid past at an arm’s length. That’s easier said than done when Jesse asks Serenity to help renovate an old property. And when they’re trapped underground in a tunnel cave-in, their emotional barriers fall faster than the tunnel walls.

When rescue arrives, they question their new emotional intimacy. Can Serenity trust this new Jesse with her heart? And can Jesse trust that Serenity will ignore the lure of a fortune to keep his secrets safe?

My thoughts on the book:
This author is new to me so I did not read the first book in the series but I really like Elsa she was an amazing character with a huge heart and ready to help anyone not matter what. Jack was the strong and silent type but he also seem to have a huge heart of gold as well. Serenity was a spit fire and she seem to speak her mind she seemed very fierce for those she loved. I felt like she put up with way too much from Jessie. Jessie was not my favorite I found him a rich snotty I can do no wrong type. At first I felt bad and hoped things would get better with him. When the author through in a twist in the story I thought ok here is the changing point. Lets just say what I thought was going to happen it didn’t. In the end I still was a fan of Jack, Elsa and Serenity. The friendship between Elsa and Serenity was perfect and fun and so what many want from friends. This book does have adult situations and conversations. There is cursing in this book so this may not be suitable for all. I received a complimentary copy of this book. The Dating Itinerary Brooke Williams

 Description:

As if it wasn’t bad enough to be deemed the “most single person” at her magazine’s office, budding reporter Penny has now been tapped to write a series of features called “The Dating Itinerary.” From speed dating to Tinder, old-fashioned matchmakers to up-and-coming “dark dating,” Penny now has to go on a lot of dates. Silver lining: meeting new people should be fun, right? But running into her old rival, George, at her first dating event is decidedly not. Not only does the arrogant know-it-all have zero trouble attracting women, wherever Penny goes, somehow he just. Keeps. Showing. Up.

Geo knows he’s right on the cusp of writing success with the chance to have his own syndicated column. All he has to do is follow his agent’s ideas for showcasing different dating avenues, and he’ll pull in enough to help his sister’s non-profit women’s shelter get off the ground. Sure, his itinerary is starting to look strangely similar to his old rival Penny’s, but all’s fair in love and syndication, right?

The more they look for love in all the wrong places, though, the more they start to wonder if it was right in front of their noses all along. Still, the brutal dating scene just might end them, if these two don’t kill each other first.

My thoughts on the book:

This is a new to me author and this book was super fun read. If this book was a movie (which I could totally see) this would be a total romcom for sure.  This author definitely has a sense of humor I mean look at the names of the characters and you will totally see why I say that. I liked both main characters in the end, however I was not a fan of “Geo” I so wanted to punch him a couple of times thought out the book. Penny and her sisters were just so fun to read about and I hope if this is not a series the author turns it into one because I am so ready to read their stories too. I loved Geo’s sister man with what she faced she too had a heart of gold and I want her to have a Happy ever after. 🙂 I will say that the author does have some of the characters face or had faced to very tough subjects but over all this book was very much a good clean read and so well worth the read. I could not put it down. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.”

Make Mine a Cowboy A.J. Pine

 Description:

From this “fabulous storyteller” (Carolyn Brown, New York Times bestselling author) comes the next Meadow Valley western romance series. Dr. Charlotte North has no time for a player, not even one as tempting as Ben Callahan. Besides, Charlotte is only in Meadow Valley for a few months to help her grandmother. After that, it’s back to New York and the career she loves. But when her gran starts to meddle in her personal life, Charlotte knows just the man to help her out. Ben’s the perfect no-strings boyfriend, until Charlotte discovers that beneath that rugged, charming exterior lies a sweet and bighearted cowboy.

Ben Callahan is tired of people assuming he’s an immature playboy, so when the smart and sexy Charlotte asks him to be her pretend boyfriend, he jumps at the chance to show everyone that he’s changed his ways. Though he and Charlotte are calling their relationship fake, Ben’s heart says otherwise. Two months with Charlotte isn’t nearly enough. Will Ben be able to prove he’s worthy of her for real before their time together is up, or will she leave Meadow Valley — and him — forever?

Includes the bonus novel Hometown Cowboy by Sara Richardson!

My thoughts on the book:

Two weeks tourist with benefits I mean what could go wrong it’s not like they will ever see each other again right. This story was super cute that back and forth between Charlotte and Ben was fun to read about. Ben seems to have life some what figured out then starts to question it which make he feel relatable he just seems like no matter how messed up his life is his heart won’t let him not be there for those he loves. Charlotte was a perfectionist and has her fiver year planned out she annoyed me a little but but overall she was fun free loving person to read about too. I did enjoy catching up with Delaney and Sam and seeing what adventures they have been up too and I can’t wait to read Colts story (hope that’s coming soon). The author did mention some of his story in this book but it leaves you wanting more for sure. Maybe it’s me but it seems like Sam, Ben and Colt are more brothers then friends. There is adult situations and language in this book so it may not be suitable for all. Very fun read and so worth it. I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to post a review and have given my honest opinion
