Last Dance with the Texas Bull Rider Rebecca Crowley

 Description:
She was always the ‘perfect’ Star—until she fell…
Jessa Star danced her way to the perfect ballet career, and when injury cut it short, she returned to Last Stand, Texas to open a dance studio—the perfect back-up plan. She’s convinced everyone she’s perfectly happy and perfectly fulfilled, and she’s confident the secret that could blow up her life is perfectly concealed—until her wildly imperfect bull-rider husband careens into town.
Happy-go-lucky Caleb “Calamity” Ross may not be a top-tier rodeo cowboy, but he doesn’t mind. His life on the road is fun, free, and fast enough to outrun his toxic upbringing. But when a bad wreck at the Last Stand Rodeo puts him in the hospital, he wakes to find his runaway bride by his side—the one woman who might matter enough to stop him in his rambling tracks.
Their marriage was a joke, but there’s nothing funny about their connection, or the threats they pose to each other’s futures. The clock is ticking on their wedding bells, and they’ll have to decide whether to say ‘I do’ again—or say goodbye.

My Review:
I was excited to read this book  because the first few were such a fun reads and I couldn’t wait to see what the sisters were up too. I like Jessa while you can see she struggled with self confidence like most women do but it totally made her feel 100% relatable. She was also a fighter she fought for what she felt was right to her bones. Caleb had to grow on me some while I love a good cowboy in a story I felt like he just did not fit that tough exterior, honestly it felt like he had nothing else in life so he fell back on the one thing that would be an adventure. Eventually his shell was cracked and you got to see the real him for who he was, which was this fun loving guy with a big heart. Overall I really did enjoy the story. There is sexual content in the story so it may not be suitable for all. Also I loved Amy she’s a spitfire and one not to mess with.
Spoil alert:
I will say the situation that has played out in the other two books with the aunt and cousin from the girls mom’s was kind of anti-climatic to me.

The Cowboy’s Claim Sinclair Jayne

Description:

“No strings,” he said….

Ex-special forces soldier and military dog handler Calhoun Miller is lucky to be alive. He wouldn’t even be in Marietta but for a vow he made to his fallen team leader to solve a mystery that spans decades. And then a freak accident hospitalizes him, risking his mission to honor his friend.

She begs him to keep their secret, but when Calhoun reveals he’s in town to solve the long ago disappearance of her father and brother, keeping her distance, hands, and secrets to herself is beyond challenging.

Not to mention she might be…pregnant?

My Review:

I have read this whole series so I was excited to get my hands on this one for sure. I will say I was happy to see this one came with a bit of a suspense/mystery to it, it felt right. I like Calhoun he was a bit of a softy and not really a tough guy but with the situations in the book it just made sense. Jory was a tough nut, she was someone who had walls built so high it was going to take someone softer to break those walls down and let her see the love she deserved. They just complimented each other so much. I was also glad to catch up with the others from the series and see where they were in life. This book does contain sex content so may not be suitable for all. Overall I would say this was a fun book to read and the author did a good job keeping you guessing with what was really going on.

Initially he thinks he’s Driving Miss Crazy, but even his inner cynic can’t resist his adorable passenger who’s funny and consistently finds the bright side of everything.

But will an emergency detour to his family’s ranch coupled with a convenient lie about their blossoming relationship be the romantic nudge they both need or their undoing?

My Review:

This was a fun read. Izzy was so sassy and such a fun character. I feel like she was one of the people we need in our lives that even in the troubled times, there is time to laugh. Will to me was the polar opposite, I want to say that he would be a small stick in the mud type who’s family responsibility he cared on his shoulders. He was super fun too though he went with the punches and I loved that his sister held him accountable and called him out. Man I can’t wait to read more about this family. I will say I was torn on who was my favorite character though I think its a tie between Sarah and Lucille, I think they need to join forces because nothing was getting by them. Overall this was a fun read and I really enjoyed it, there is adult content so it may not be suitable for all.

But when her past comes calling, can Kendall trust the future Harlan promises enough to finally stay—with the only man she’s ever loved, in the only place that’s ever felt like home?

My Review:

Oh my was this book a fun read! Harlan is one of those people you do not want to mess with but is also a big teddy bear who speaks his mind and is not known for doing anything off the rails. Kendall is more let see how it plays out and keeps to herself so not to upset the wagon. She however is not a delicate flower this girl can hold her own and seeks out to create a family she so longs to have. I loved Zeke and Belinda those two oh my oh my they are up to something but they love there boys and aren’t afraid to test them a little. I really enjoyed the spin the author took the this family on and kept things lively. In the end I thought it would play out one was but to see the way it played out reminds me that family is what you make it not blood. Overall this book was fun read and I can’t wait for more from this family. There is adult content so may not be suitable for all.

Their chemistry is undeniable, but as the election looms, they’ll need to decide if their fake alliance is real and where their loyalties lie.

My Review:

You take two people from opposite sides of the “track” throw them together and you get this fun read. I liked Georgia and her sisters, Georgia seemed like one of those people who if pushed into a corner it was only then she would come out fighting with all her might. Her and her sisters were everything to each other and there was not stopping them from helping each other out or calling each other out. Cy while some times he whined about his upbringing he wasn’t annoying about it, it truly shaped the adult he was. He wanted what was best for his brother and nothing was going to stop him from doing that including the law. I loved that Cy gave push back to everyone it showed he was a fighter and would do what’s it s right. Overall this book was a fun read the characters were always up to something and the author throw a twist in to keep things lively and keep you guessing. There is sexual content in the story so it may no be suitable for all but it was worth the read.

My Review:

Jack was one of the characters with a big ego and you are not quite sure where the author is going to take it. Jack has a big heart and wants what it best for his family and he doesn’t wasn’t to fail them with his choices. He is always looking out for his community and company and knows that his choice can have lasting impact. Maddie was this no nonsense person, she had no problem getting her hands dirty right along with those she work with or over saw. She loved her family, friends and just wanted a place to fit and call home. I loved Annabelle that girl made everything her business she was sure to keep her cousins and friend on there toes, you were not about to pull a fast one on her, there was no doubting where you stood with her or Maddie. I really can’t wait to read her story. I loved the feel of family, and community in the story it just overall was a fun read, Its a feel good book for sure.

My Review:

This is a new to me author and this book did not disappoint at all. I really loved that this was set in Alaska and the author did an good job making you feel like you were in the story. I like True there was not messing with her that girl was going to protect who she loves and cares about at all cost. I really liked her sidekick Bonnie because every person needs someone in their corner cheering them on. I liked Xavier he protected his brothers at all cost, he loved his little family that his mom created  and would do whatever needed to be done to protect them. His relationship with his grandmother and  Red was trying at times but he always did what he felt was right, he had the biggest heart and would take everyone at face value. Description:

When infant Storm is orphaned, nanny Emma Wright, on a work visa and still reeling from a painful divorce, yearns to adopt her but must relinquish Storm to her three adult half-brothers. They remind her of a pack of wolves—protective, but not prepared to care for a baby. Alpha male Reid is especially aloof and intimidating.

Like his younger brothers, Reid Fraser left the Westcoast village of Raven’s Cove at eighteen and never looked back. Now a successful corporate consultant who rescues failing businesses—which is what this fly-in fishing resort has become, Reid must rally his brothers to save Storm’s inheritance, but he and his estranged brothers barely get along. They can’t deal with an infant, too. They need the nanny.

As Emma coaches Reid through midnight feedings and teething, they try to ignore the sexual pull between them. Then they learn Storm may have family who could take her from them. Reid proposes a marriage of convenience, but will it be enough to keep this fractured family together?

My Review:

Let me first start off saying if you have ever dealt with pregnancy loss, IVF or struggled to get pregnant this book may hit you different. Now that being said this book was good. Emma had one of the biggest hearts and sweetest spirits it seemed like everyone liked her, she was one that it was hard not to like. Reid was a pain in the you know what but typical brothers always the oldest having to figure out life for the younger ones. He does grow on you though. I loved Glenda there was no getting around her, when she spoke the boys, heck everyone listened she just had a love for people that shined off the pages. I really can’t wait to see what antics the brother’s get up to in the series. Overall it was worth the read, there is sexual content in the book so it may not be suitable for all.

Lyric Valenza has worked with difficult clients, but this ruggedly handsome cowboy might just be her biggest challenge. Marrying a cowboy was the biggest mistake of her life, and after her divorce, she vowed she’d never again need a man. Only the more time she spends with Thatch, the more she realizes there’s a difference between needing and wanting someone—and this cowboy may just be the one person she doesn’t want to be without.

My Review:

I really enjoyed this book it! Its one of those book that you just feel part of the friend group and you can’t wait for more. Thatch has this big heart but he doesn’t want to put himself out there for someone again who doesn’t or can’t love him as much as he loves them. He cares so deeply for his friends and would do anything for them. Lyric is a broken soul just looking to move past something that seems to continue to haunt her years later. She loves her friends but alway has no problem keep everyone at arms length. I loved Thatch’s dad I could not stop laughing at his silliness. This is a small town with big hearts and they will help everyone which is pretty amazing. This book does have some tough topics and sexual content so it may not be suitable for all. Overall it was a fun read and worth the read.

The Cowboy Charm Sinclair Jayne

Description:

All work and no play is not how this cowboy intends to spend his day…

Former special forces soldier Ryder Lea has dedicated his life to serving others. Now honorably discharged, he’s looking to return to his cowboy roots to work as a rodeo stock contractor and travel the country he’s spent years protecting. But first, he has an obligation in Marietta, Montana to his fallen commanding officer. Surely completing a few hours of community service won’t be that challenging?

Physical therapist Edison Martin is short-staffed and underwhelmed when the tall, broad-shouldered cowboy with the ‘awe shucks’ smile swaggers into her clinic as her latest community-service volunteer. She needs trained help, not eye-candy. And Ryder reminds Edi of everything she’s lost and every man who’s done her wrong.

Bound by duty and compassionate by nature, Ryder dives into his temporary role with humor and enthusiasm. His motto: make a difference. But what will it take to get statuesque, super serious Edi to smile and remember that each day is a gift?

My Review:

I have really enjoyed this series so far and this book did not disappoint either. I love how the author takes two broken people very different walks of Life but the heartbreak is still so similar and then turns and make them a hero in the story. It goes to show we call all be the hero’s in our own story. Ryder comes back from his time in the military and while he stilling he structure mindset he’s also in a playful one ready to help anyway he can. I enjoyed reading his and Lydia’s antics it was like those two were peas in a pod. I feel like the author did an amazing job not sugar coating the struggles of a love one with dementia, its a hard disease, for the family as well. Edison (cool name) was what some may say a stick in the mud at first but she was so use to everything having to be that way and having so much on her shoulders you could see as the story went how she started to relax and enjoy her life. Overall this was a fun read and I can’t wait for more from these brothers. There is sexual content in the story so it may not be suitable for all.
